Got my Tony Stark today! :yess:
Minor problem though... I went to take his shoes off and replace them with the armor pieces, but the footpegs went with the shoes. It's really hard to get in there and take them out. What should I do?

Put half an inch of boiling water in a glass or bowl. Pop the boots in the water for a minute.
When a minute has passed, lift them out, and plug the pegs back onto Tony's legs. Then remove them. The pegs will be on the legs and not the boots.
The water will make the boots and pegs expand. That will make the pegs tighter in Tony's legs, and looser on the boots.
When the boots cool down they will be fine again.

Hair dryer to soften and needle nose pliers?

Thanks for the tips. Never thought of using hot water before.

I have the New Goblin and it would take John Cena's body to get that dam head off the neck, so all I do is sit it in the water for a min and should come off?

^Applying intellect and tools....you can accomplish things without using much physical strenght...

Heat does help in expanding the plastic a little... also makes it softer

Those who have this figure, is the faceplate included the same with the mark 7 face plate with large eyes and a gap in the mouth? Does the faceplate fits a mark 7 head?

Thanks

I'll try it once the family is awake, our kettle hear sounds like two transformers having a revving competition... hopefully it works, as I said it would take 5 months working out in the gym to separate those two parts :dunno

Yes. Pop it into boiling water, wait a few minutes, empty the water and use a bit of kitchen roll to dab the head dry, and it will pop off no problem.
I used that technique to enlarge the peg mounting point on the IM3 Tony head so it would fit on the armoured necks of all the earlier suits.

Cool pics, mate! What base is that?

Just one that i made myself before the IM3 Tony was released.
I was thinking of moulding it, but no-one thought it was cool, lol.
The holes near the feet were drilled in anticipation of adding foot brackets like the HOA bases. I haven't gotten around to that yet.
Here are some more pics of it(It works as a full flight stand with a long pole attached):

Those stands are way better than the garbage Hot Toys gives us, I'd def buy one for my VII, need a flight stand badly.

Lol.
Thanks!
I was just riffing off the IM3 Elevator base from this figure and the WM 2.0 base we will be getting in 2014. Like a curcular base that seems to have a lot going on.
And with room for an engraved plaque at the front.
