to me that new sculpt is a massive improvement. my wallet is gonna start losing a whole lot of weight if i start investing into this line

Thats exactly what I was thinking about when people complained about the mouth...He needs that little smirk/grin that Ford has in some of the photos...

But I agree, the likeness is almost like night and day compared to the original sculpt...Just needs a different expression...

Asked and answered. You can also thank "those guys" for the tweak because without the comments on FB HT wouldn't have touched it. What they previously showed was very much the final at the time - this release was pushed out.

lol...no, but a different expression would be nice...Not to be nitpicky, I think they did a great job on the resculpt...just alittle tweak of the mouth...course, I don't want HT getting irritated and going back to the old sculpt just out of spite though...lol...

Am I the only one who doesn't like the new one? Looks sad and mouth looks weird. Like he just ate something bad, at least the previous one looks determined.

Wow! I was accepting of the original even though I didn't think it was great, but this new one is fantastic. I'm so glad they gave him a less angry/stern expression and softened up the eyebrow/eye area. To me Solo/Ford always had a softness about the eyes that made you trust him even when he was playing a scoundrel or a thief. You always knew there was something good lurking in him from is eyes. I think the new sculpt captures when the original didn't really have any of that quality at all.

I'm not excited about the new one.

This is the issue with changing out the head after pre-orders are taken. I can't say for sure if I still would've pre-ordered with this head, but at least the first version looked more stern, it fit Han's character even if it didn't look much like him. This new version looks like Prince Charming or something, just a very pleasant, nice guy, not really who Han Solo is.
