I just wish they could bead up this eyes a little - more of that almond shape tilting down on the sides.

I gotta say, from this angle he actually looks pretty good. Probably because it makes his expression look a little more serious and not so perplexed.

So I guess if you're gonna get it, just make sure you always have him looking down. :D

He's trying to look for Alderaan.

For all his clear faults, I'd honestly take this one over the HT offering:

Hot Toys should have stuck to Trevor's awesome SS sculpt and added their improvements:

Yeah, the fact that Trevor has never hooked up with Hot Toys for whatever reason is one of the greatest "tragedies" in modern 1/6 scale collecting :lol He works for SSC all the time, who never do his sculpts justice with decent production pieces, and HT does extremely good production pieces that frequently suffer from lackluster sculpts!

Like vinyl records, I feel there will be a large group that will go retro soon and revert back to the old Sideshow sculpts as being better than the more updated HT counterparts.

Based on the above, I'd have to agree. SS Ben and Han are outstanding but need a $200 repaint.

Sucks, man. Even has the same off-center chin. I'll never be able to see Han as anything other than DX-Han now.

This is like a cruel inside-joke going down at Chan HQ. They're laughing right now.

Unfortunately this is probably because HT's artists are Korea based and Trevor is in the US. I doubt HT would be ever liaise with an artist across the world, regardless of talent.
