People that are upset about that need to get a life. It's just a crappy doll. Seeing his reactions to Fallon bringing it out than breaking the **** out of it was worth it. It got a good laugh out of everyone. I loved where he just tossed it behind him like it was nothing. :lol

These things aren't some sacred artifacts. When you think about it, some day, years from now all these figures will be in the same place, the bottom of a landfill. It's just plastic and cotton/polyester/faux leather.

But remember what Belloq said. :lol

"But I take it, I bury it in the sand for a thousand years, it becomes priceless."

I'm sure if what remains of the figure was auctioned for charity it would sell for way more than its retail price, just because it was part of the stunt.

It's Harrison Ford, as far as I'm concerned he's earned the right to do whatever he wants to any figure with his likeness.

PS: It's just a toy.

In the words of Victor Meldrew "I don't bloody believer it!"! My Han & Chewie turned up today,Cheiwe's fine, Han on the other hand...... There's a mark on his forehead from the packaging. Can anybody tell me who thought it was a good idea to put a hard point of plastic sticking out to hold the head down? They've stuck a piece of cloth over it, but it's left a nice semi-circular scar oh his forehead.

I can live with that.

The back of the boots are horrific, but I can fix that I hope..

But sweet Mother MacCrae the fecking arms. The shoulders are stiff as can be, but you can move them. There's is no movement at all though in the elbows, they're completely fused!!

Any help would be gratefully received :(

Here's a mod I did to an extra Han body. I removed the rubber chest and made the shoulder holes larger. Modified one on the right.

all I could think about last night after watching Harrison destroy his Hot Toys figure.. is all the LOLs to be had here on this forum afterwards hahahahahaha. Why is there not any hilarious GIFs yet? "THIS SCULPT IS UNACCEPTABLE" LOLOLOLOL. Pure gold. Anyone offended by Ford are just noobs / trolls. He reminds me of a cool person who doesn't know how to age. You know? It's like you're so cool and so important for so long.. and then you get out of the light, new guys come in and you start to get old and you just don't know how to age gracefully. He seems bitter and out of place. I don't think I've seen a single interview in recent years that he took it seriously. I kinda like feel nervous for him hoping he doesn't do or say anything irreversible haha. I think he's trying to have fun / be funny, but I kinda cringe and just kinda wish he would let go of wanting to let go of han solo, and just embrace it and try to be normal. But I guess it's also part of me that is selfish to wish he would be more heartfelt about some of the questions all of us fans want to know... because honestly he's dealt with it so long and I'm sure he just doesn't care anymore, so yeah maybe he should just do what he wants. He's a rad dude though. Too bad he couldn't be more positive about his Han Solo past. :)

You should have seen him interviewed in his thirties! At least now he has a sense of humor!

:lecture Like bmarz said, he actually used to be much worse, much more closed up and very intimidating to interview. Yes, at least now he seems to be trying to be funny and responsive!

Look at this one from 1982:

Dude is awkward as **** in the real world but damn he can act. That said he's never allowed around my Han figure!

I stand corrected. Thanks for that 1982 interview Mad Old Lu!

It has nothing to do with age at all. It's just the way he is.

In his upcoming GQ interview.. he actually manages to string together more than a sentence worth of thoughts that contain actual feeling behind his Han Solo character.
Harrison Ford: Han Solo isn't the same person in The Force Awakens - GQ.co.uk

Should be a good interview, worth picking up for sure, comes out in January.
