Finally got around to setting up my Han. I like him. Very happy with this figure :)

Ok, this one, I'm proud of. My Han head repaint turned out better than expected. The Clipperking was right when he said the sculpt was 'soft'. But after many hours with needles, brush, pencil, paint and varnish, I think it's quite good! What do you think?

The repaint looks great! :yess:

Anyone know if there's a place I can get the gloved right trigger hand other than eBay? ToyAnxiety and MonkeyDepot don't seem to have them.

Nice job Jazz. I'm super jealous of your customized collection. Weathering on the Stormy suit looks great. Almost perfect futz on Chewy. Good stuff.

Wow! Fantastic job, Jazz! Very impressive! :clap

You mention needles and a pencil--how did you use them? What did you do with them? Can you give a general overview of your process?

Needle to give him pores, to sculpt little lines in the face and to sculpt the eyebrows as well as add lines to the lips.

I use the pencils to dot in very small red points, because his face is much more ruddy than the sculpt and paint job is out of the box. I also use brown. Then shading with powder and sealing it by tamping on Matt varnish very lightly

damn, that looks amazing! very impressive work

im so glad i ended up getting Han, im very happy with him in hand

That is some INCREDIBLE work you've done here, Jazz! So, you just added some texture to the skin and eyebrows with a needle then some subtle color to the lips and pores? It looks more like you Photoshopped a hi-rez photo of Harrison Ford onto your figure if you didn't say anything. Well done, sir, well done. :clap

Repaint looks great, but to be fair to Hot Toys, that "before" picture is about the worst photo you can take of one of their pieces. It'd be cool to see a "before/after" pic under the exact same lighting with the same camera. I've seen some high quality shots here of Han with his original paintwork, and he can look pretty darn good.

Dang, Jazz. That looks like a totally different sculpt. There's only a handful of HT repaints I've ever thought was an improvement, yours is definitely one. Probably the best one.
