oh!! yes of course!! I just care for the Star Wars look from '77!! BEFORE there was a silly episode number on it!!!
Well if you did decide to move them on I'd be very interested! Tried to PM you but I think your inbox is full!
The hands tend to go for (at the very least) $10 a piece. These would sell all day long at $90 for the complete set. I paid $60 for 6 of em....would have been great to get the other 3, but I'm still very happy indeed. What's a good price for the glove set? Been considering moving some stuff out of the collection and my 279 with RO parts may get the chopping block. Still undecided if it'd be better to part out the RO stuff or sell all together.

Really!? I got 9 for $45. So, I got a good deal then.
If I could find a deal like that on those RO hands I'd be on my way to pick the ANH figure up right now.
I actually bought the hands first from Ebay then the ANH Vader a couple of months later
lol yeah! Breaking down to $10 a piece is a great deal....but all 9 for $45 is freakin amazing. I'm guessing you got yours a month or more ago or not in the US. But damn, you just get one hell of a deal.Really!? I got 9 for $45. So, I got a good deal then.
Dammit -- I got the RO cape and tunic thinking it looked better and was a deeper black. I haven't put them on my Vader but it sounds like it won't fit right.
I love my HT ANH Vader with the RO gloves.
Don't know about the fit But I hate the RO cape and tunic. ANH version drapes much better and doesn't flare like the RO does.
A few things need correcting...The chest armor and shoulder bells are more accurate on the R1 vader and not on the ANH version. Also the cod piece on R1 is pretty much accurate to how it looked in that movie and not a design flaw by HT. As for the suits..both are made of the same pleather and are pretty tough and durable. I agree that the paint apps are a tad too dark on the R1 mask...but the ANH mask is not very accurate either. And as for the capes i agree that the ANH version drapes better but is a little too long and bulky...and for me look better when swapped with the R1 version...Yes the ANH vader has the nice lightup saber, voice activation and interrogation droid but i still think that 'straight out of box' R1 vader is a better looking figure..Here is my pros and cons for each hot toys vader
ANH:
Pros:
Body suit is durable and is more leather like in appearance than the rogue one version. It will probably outlive the RO suit.
shoulder is better fitted and has the correct shaped shoulder bells. ANH Vader comes with a tonne of accessories and is worth the price.
Helmet is more accurate to ANH with weathering etc . Cape has satin lining and so does the tunic. Boots are accurate including the shin guards. Hot toys body underneath feels solid and tight. Light up saber arm . Figure looks great but needs some tweaks.
Cons:
helmet is not shiny enough or looks too flat . The gloves are **** , the shin guards should be more gloss like .Shoulder armor is incorrect in terms of the color( should be darker and should not have a black stripe down the the center. ) Both RO and ANH chest buttons are not dark grey when they should be , although RO is darker than the ANH. The body might be a tad too bulky in the arms. THE BELT is weak as piss and tears easily. and the saber hook is too far to the left. Boxes should more towards the center.
RO :
Pros: Shiny appearance, similar to ESB AND ROTJ. Improved gloves , improved eye lenses ( more red or amber ). Material used for the cape is more thicker.
cons: the price can be more than ANH, comes with less accessories, the shoulder amour is a weird shape and i personally think its ****.
On my specimen , the cape was too short and went as far as just above the ankles. The cod piece is ridiculously large but the reason for that is because its a design flaw on hot toys behalf. The cod piece is larger because the waist is too thin , so the belt wraps around the top of it which isnt accurate. When I applied the Sideshow COD , the belt was slightly too large and there was a bit of a gap. the shin guards are terrible they way they redesigned those but look OK. The inner robe is too thick and wont sit correctly when applying the ANH robes over the shoulder armour look. This causes vader too look too bulky in the shoulder area. The stand looks cheap and worst of all the suit . the suit might be better tailored to fit the body they use for RO, but it just is not durable or look as good as the ANH suit. The cape is missing the important satin lining.
The shoulder bells dont look cupped , and are too wide and flanged. Shoulder armour is not dark enough even for RO. No light up sabre hardly any accessories.
Personal choice but the ANH is the best value and best looking . The RO suit will wear down and I suspect its painted pleather so could flake like medicoms one soon.. Only good thing about RO Vader , is the gloves and maybe the belt , but the belt circle should be chrome not black
