I just picked this guy up today at my local comic store. He's a really cool looking figure. A lot of people have stated they don't think the likeness of the sculpt is very good, but I think it looks a lot better in hand than it does in photos. The likeness is pretty good in my opinion when you look at the figure/sculpt up close. I like the weathered look of his beard and mustache.

Great addition to other ANH figures and just a Star Wars collection in general.

Found a desert background.

Thanks man. Finished the weathering and repaint so I sealed it and took this picture.

Could they ever rerelease this as a Force ghost? Not made from translucent plastic or anything but with some kind of blue paint effect, like the sweat on Stormtroopet Luke?

Extremely doubtful. They'd likely make an Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan (which I'd be all in on) before they ever re-released this figure in a force ghost version.

Yeah, I'd say Ben is my favorite so far too.

Very nice diplay!

Is that a RotJ Luke saber from Ultrasabers on the right?

They already did this. But they called it Sideshow Old Ben Kenobi.

what are you guys doing to the robe to make it look more life like. I remember reading some people were wetting for 60 seconds then air drying the rob.

It looks way to crisp out of box
