Thanks, guys!!!

Hey Coco, I was wondering if that type of wall display might work for a Luke and Leia transom display (blaster battle with the stormtroopers). Have to reshape the top but the rest of it could be painted white with the darker border floor.

Anyway, just curious what you think.

That's a classy display Coco. :duff

Thank you!

I don't see why not. That's a good idea. Would it be square at the top? And what exactly were you thinking in regards to the paint scheme?

Thank you!

Well. it was mostly white. The display wall would become the closed door panels, the floor was dark with a white border -- I think a few screen grabs would be all that's needed to figure it out.

I know I would be interested as I'm planning a Luke and Lei display -- I'm one of those crazy guys who'll try to mod the grappling hook or even get a new Luke St belt with functional grappling hook.

Anyhow, fun to think it can happen without TOO MUCH fuss.

This sculpt is incredible. I picked up some sculpts from TA for customs, and i am amazed at it in-hand.
I've read criticism, but it's amazing to me!

The criticism I guess is that it doesn't look exactly like Alec. Which is true but it's really friggin close. A lot closer than their Luke.

I 100% see Alec Guinness in there. I know HT sculpts will always be a little bit off. But this is totally Alec Guinness in my eyes. It's uncanny.

Rounding off 2015 with the arrival of Obi Wan today.

Having fun on new years eve with the family. Today I worked on Obi Wan. What do you think? Added before and after pics. Great figure with even more potential. Happy New Year!

Repaint and added some lines in the face, see the final picture left and right. The original has a much smoother face

The biggest problem of the sculpt is the eyes. Needs to be more white showing, but that would require a lot of work to fix

Finally got my Kenobi up. Based this on a shot I've seen a few times.

I tweaked it a little more here and there. Added subtle weathering to the clothes, like in the movie. Most importantly, I added padding around the waist, because Alec Guiness didn't have a six-pack. What do you think? The padding is in the second picture on the left side.

What do you think?

I like the updated weathering on his upper mustache - definitely looks more like the actor. Rest is a tad heavy handed, at least how it photographs. Sorry, not sure how honest I'm supposed to be here......

I recently lost the hands for this guy (due to someone being careless) and I was hoping perhaps someone could suggest a place to find replacements? Thanks!
Oh, and great weathering in those pictures!
