Holy cow, panic ensued on this figure tonight. I was hopping around looking at a few sites that still had him in stock at retail and there was a huge run on him in the past couple of hours. Watched 5 sites fall like dominoes. 
Sold out everywhere and headed to over $400 on eBay soon. This HT Star Wars OT line is going nuts.

I'm as passionate about my fandom as the next nerd, but I have my limits. But I guess I get it, for those on a 12-Back run or whatever.

This figure is the ultimate 'companion' piece to any vader......and to think I had wavered on getting him initally...
Man, these Star Wars figures are really jumping in price once they sell out!
I wonder how much Alec Guinness would have hated this thing.

Indeed he is. He looks good next to Luke also. I have mine displayed right in between both Vader and Luke.

Hey Riblets - When did you get on the waitlist? I got on Jan 22nd so I have my fingers crossed like crazy! I can't believe what this figure has done on the secondary market just in the last week!

I sold all my PT stuff last year. some thing around 30 figures for $3,000 I don't regret it. my main figures are only original trilogy from now on. so far I have from HT are han chewie ben vader stormtrooper two pack. im working on getting luke some time soon. I need the tie fighter pilot and luke x-wing outfit( maybe)
I did things right for once. I unloaded most of mine back when people would still pay for them.
