Kylo DX will have the mask and the Adam Driver sculpt, maybe the melted vader mask. Kylo 2.0 will have battle damaged Kylo with the slash across his face. You know its going to happen. Hehe. Its a gold mine for them so theyre definitely jumping into it.

They're going to have to really blow me away to order two more Kylos from TFA. I'm down for more versions from VIII and IX though. Otherwise, I'll just be buying a bunch of extra headsculpts when they come out haha.

But who knows, I could go the other direction and buy each one, perpetuating the practice of double and triple dipping. :lol

Sure, what they gave us is certainly good. But the lack of a Driver head sculpt is insane, given how he spends his most important scenes in the movie without a mask. Yes, I know - they released the figure early and may not have had all the necessary info/images, etc etc, and so on. I'm still frustrated as all *%$$. But there are a few sculptors working on a Kylo Ren head, so that's at least something.

It's true - and I really like Driver as a performer too.

A really weird - and sorta lame - thing about the character is I just didn't understand why he even had a helmet (other than he's a villain in a SW movie:lol)

He took his helmet on and off like most people do hats. Vader couldn't survive without his helmet, and others like Fett never remove their helmets, yet Kylo Ren's helmet doesn't seem to serve any actual purpose and so he randomly pops it on and off.

He's a poser trying to be intimidating. I look at it as like tribes do with war paint. Don't have a problem with it other than he should never take it off:lol

But will the Kylo dx (if made) will really be up to date and not only include the Driver Sculpt but the wounded scarred Ben solo sculpt

Found a new video

At the end of the video... "And thanks to Sideshow Collectibles for sending it to us early so we can get a look at it"

Whaaaaat?! No fair

Precisely. Essentially just trying to emulate his idol/grandfather. His voice with the helmet on was pretty intimidating though.

That video is BS. He just read the visual dictionary and reworded it as his own opinion. And his "observation" about the vents is also incorrect. Just let look at some screen grabs most if the time it's simply the red highlight from the sabre blade reflected on the tubular vents.

He just compiled some facts for people that don't wanna do the research or read the book, that's it. No reason to call it BS.
And it doesn't look like a reflection at all, it looks like the blades from the guard are coming through.

Edit: my bad, looks like you are right, checked it out through multiple screenshots and it looks like it's indeed a very strong reflection.

Me and you both, brother.

"...and me makes three!"

About that video: Can anyone confirm that the crossguard saber was actually destroyed? I've heard some speculate this (and that Kylo lost his arm, too!), but I couldn't make out either happening when I watched the film. And, for whatever it's worth, though the novel makes note of Kylo's lightsaber having been knocked out of his hand after taking a strike in the "shaft," there's no mention of it being destroyed (Kylo is even said to reach out and attempt to draw his saber back to him after losing it). And there's absolutely nothing in the literature to back up a claim of Ren having lost a limb.

Also, one tidbit in particular from the Visual Dictionary -- the one about Kylo's red lightsaber crystal being cracked -- really intrigues me.

What might have happened to result in a cracked a Kyber crystal? A part of me can't help but wonder if maybe it was the destruction of the second Death Star? Too much of a reach? Yeah, maybe. But I adore the concept of Kylo aspiring to be like his grandfather, and I think that, lore-wise, Kylo Ren perhaps somehow utilizing the cracked remains of Vader's lightsaber crystal (presumably recovered from the surface of Endor) is neat possibility.

Oh, but the figure: I love the look of it and I cannot wait for a future shipping notice.
