Interesting setting there. Looks like the where fighting on the Faculity level on Goldeneye.

can someone tell me in which scene the magic tape was used in T:S?

actually, my connor figure came with instructions for using magic tape, but i did not see any in the figure box. did anyone else get the magic tape and what did you use it for?

thanks!

I like Andys sculpt, but with all respect, I don't see that much Baleness on it. Sure he got some details on the nose and a bit on the lips, but still I'm not sure that everybody would see Bale immediatly. The HT JC Bale is really hard to capture it in pics. It always looks round and a bit fat in the pics, but in hand the face is really long and not thick, more a bit thin. The nose is off, it hasn't got the form of Bale in a perfect capture, but still it's the best Bale head out there. Fenix head is a bit too thin and is looking a bit weird from the side. It would be cool to have a mix of HT and Fenix head, that would rock.

Can't wait to see in the near future the head from Z. Hope this will be then the perfect one. :)

You should really look at pics from Bale in the Terminator. The HT head really isn't remotely close. The Sosa head is light years better in person. Bale was extremely guant in the face for the film.

Sosa's Connor looks like a mixed bag of parts. All the elements look right for Bale, but the overall look has like 2-3 head sizes going on with it, things aren't in proportion to other parts.

I'm looking at it on my figure now and don't see any of that. I think people have this idea of what Bale looks like in there heads and project it onto this HT sculpt because if you look at photos side by side it's really hard to find one thing that looks like Bale in the HT sculpt.

Here's a real life comparison first which shows IMO how far off the sculpt is...

Even with my crappy ass cell phone pics with zero lighting I think it's very obvious which one is closer. Don't get me wrong, neither are close to spot on, but again when looking at what Bale actually looks like it's not even close IMO.

You must be joking..the Sosa head has beedy eyes..looks off, the problem with Kojuns sculpt is that the nose is bloated at the bridge..biggest distraction about the sculpt but!!, its the best mass produced Bale head yet.

Nope, and the pictures above you show there's a lot more off than just the nose. To be specific. Everything.

Sosa's sculpt went for a scene specific look hence the squinting eyes.

I think all the current Bale heads are inadequate. But as it stands, only HT are producing full figures based on characters he plays, so I'm happy with what they produce.

The sosa sculpt is good..especially seeing it unpainted..maybe its that paint job there that is throwing it off for me..eyes look too squint..the shape of the head looks weird too..almost as if he has a bump on the head..they both have their positives and negatives..i remember when i first seen that Sosa sculpt(unpainted) F'ing unreal how good the sculpt is.

Well to be fair to the painter, it's more than likely my photos from my cell phone taken in a bathroom. One of these days I'll invest in a digital camera that last longer than a year.

Yea thats what i was thinking more so..the pics are out of focus/taken with a cell, not showing the true quality of the paint/sculpt..i know that sculpt is damn good for sure, even has the mole around the right eye..i think Kojun missed this.

I kind of agree in a sense about the sculpt being off. When you just keep looking over and over at the figure, you kind of get this image in your head of how close the figure actually looks to bale, because you are thinking it is him. But when you actually compare it side by side, it's quite off. Some things are damn close to spot on, but some are actually way off. Like, it's a damn SWEET figure and HS, but just not as good as it could be. Always room for improvement though

The portrait is close enough to work, especially if you casually view Bale in his films. Unfortunately, I notice the lip thing and nose thing everytime I see him on screen, so my natural inclination with sculpts is to look for those in it and HT just doesn't quite get them but for the mouths on their Batmans.
