Hot Toys should start by getting the coat the correct color before they tweak anything else what so ever :lecture.

The figures haven't been produced yet -- so its hard to say they are "unquestionably inaccurate". All we've seen is a small sample in a prototype picture. Perhaps troubleshooting the suspenders is low on the list of tweaks ... then again, perhaps what you see is what you get.

As for the tie -- it certainly looks like fabric ...

But, I don't have a V1 to compare it to.

Well I'm just talking right now, in the prototype, the suspenders is wrong.

As for the tie, the proto images of the v1 looked like a nice cloth tie, the final shipped tie doesn't have the fully correct pattern and is vinyl.

the chain is much longer and the lapels are supposed to be improved as well.

Lapels look the same in that display picture -- up on his shoulders again.

Gloves look black again too.

Other than the dusty shoes, I don't see any difference.

I think the lapels are better, maybe because the coat's not so tight. They look good in some of the pics on page 1 and same old on some others. If there's a wire to flatten them, I think properly futzed the coat will look better on him, as far as the style. Colorwise, that booth shot worris me. The Cop suit looks quite blue, and we know it'll look essentially black under true lighting, yet the purple isn't very purple at all, so what happens to that under normal lighting.

But in that pic, assuming that's the new coat, it's not because the Joker is pulling at his coat that's raising the lapel. Look at the cut on the other side; where he's pulling -- it's also riding too high. You can eyeball where they would fall if his coat is closed. Wire or not, it looks to be at the same height as the original coat.

Like I said, I don't know what to make of it, they look pretty good in these shots.

More length in the shoulder perhaps, but the lapels look the same as far as placement.

All they need to do is add more length around the neck area so they hang further down, on the chest like they're supposed to.

with Eyeball Rolling System!!!!! very impressive!!!!
Fine work, the best company of 1/6 figures. Please remake star wars figures.

Exactly. That is why I am most worried. So...what.....the coat will likely look less purple than that pic most of the time?!?

Hardly deluxe status if so.

I disagree. The Jacket lapels aren't suppose to be around the chest:

They're in the right spot. Now as far as this pic:

What you're not seeing is how much of the jacket is off and behind the neck.

You see how when the Joker open his jacket the coat collar actually comes closer around his neck and comes forward? And how the other side of his jacket doesn't go up? That's because on real clothes material stretches. But on these small 1/6 figures that use 1/1 scale material that doesn't happen. So when you yank on one side.. the other side goes up. And when you open one side of the jacket (even happens on my BR Joker) the collar goes back.. it doesn't come forward like real clothes. Same thing with the HT Two-Face: when you lift his arms the jacket around the collar shoots backwards leaving a big gap around the neck.

I think when you're not posing Joker showing off the grenades it'll be fine. Assuming nothing changes from Proto to Final product like the v.1

:D

We are also still debating wether the overcoat has a wire, which would make huge difference. Also it looks like the buttons are blue

From that newest picture -- I think it has to have a wire. There is simply no other way that the coat would stay open that well.
