Oh HT. Maybe they shouldn't just copy and paste their specs from previous figures huh? It just gets you in hot water. First the Iron Man stand (which is much weaker and unacceptable at the price point IMO) and now the cell phone! Oh noes!

Yeah, what's with HT lately? Lately our local HT distributor encountered a problem much bigger than last minute changes of accessories from HT. Apparently our retailer got an email from HT saying that they may not be able to accommodate all the preorders made by our retailer. And our retailer's not as big as Sideshow. Their quantities are always based on the number of preorders they get, which could only be more or less 100 pieces/figure, and they open and close the pre-orders very early.

Our retailer had to outsource just so everyone could get their figures, but upon hearing the story the other retailers also fear that they might get a similar email from HT one day. Those who ordered more than one of an item were asked to give way.

HT says DX 12 and 11 are among the figures HT said would be cut short in quantity, along with some Avengers figures. I hope this won't affect any of you guys. It's just sad.

Let me clear it, though. By "cut short in quantity" I didn't mean HT would make less figures than they should or have announced (do they actually announce their quantities?). That we don't know. It's that our retailer would get less that the actual orders made to HT, around 30% less as my retailer announced, for some reasons.

It was so nice of our retailer to outsource, even if it would cost them more as some stores offer higher PO prices, just so everyone would get their orders.

Just got an email from Sideshow that says HT changed the accessory list. It will not be coming with the cell phone.

While I was reading the email and saw that there was a "change with the accessories list" I thought the next thing I was going to read that the sonar head and back pack were being added the poor cell phone got the boot

I'm kinda glad none of my orders got affected.

The phone on his belt in Batman Begins that he uses to call Alfred when gassed by Scarecrow. It's not there in TDK or TDKR, presumably because he has the phone built into the cowl. No reason for it to be included with this figure anyway.

I have noticed that with the Avengers figures.
Maybe HT can't make as many as there is demand for without major delays or QC suffering
