Does anyone have some problems with the cowl that has some shiny spots on certain areas?? It has a sheen look to it. Mine is on both sides of the temple. And a lil on the top of his cranium. It's kind of irritating if u ask me.

SSC sucks lol I never got one and so I messaged them hoping they would take it early so I could get this bad boy and they said sorry I have to wait till my flex pay on Tuesday is charged. Balls

I've seen many references to "dull coat" over the years and I look for it every once in a while at hobby stores with no luck. Could you post a link to a specific product?

I'm warming up to the DX12 cowl a little after trying some new angles and faceplate combos. I'm seriously considering darkening the pink on his eyelids...it's a little distracting.

And I agree that the eyes sockets might be better black right up to the eye.

With Rory's second squint mod the pink is gone (except for a bit in the center), and I think it really looks good.

If you wanna put the BW sculpt on the DX02:

1. Sand down a standard True Type neck adapter to be the circumference of the one that comes with the DX12
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Stick it on the BW sculpt.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Slip on the neck sleeve (if you don't first sand down the adapter this will not be possible). As you can see, you can slide it up higher than the proto pics show.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Stick it on the DX02
   
   
   

Final product with DX12 belt:

Be advised that if you want the neck sleeve to fit this high, the head has to be bent forward. With his chin up you can see his neck at the bottom, which would require a lower neck sleeve placement.

I got a response back and they said that people who placed their order before 9/30/12 were the only customer’s emailed as they only received a partial shipment. They're getting more next week but said it's possible it won't be shipped out till the week after because of Thanksgiving Stinking holidays lol This will be my first Hot Toys figure so I'm a little anxious. Love the Tumbler, but he needs Batman.

Just got a ups shipping notification from paying the flexpay off.

Was expecting to have to wait til December from calling prior to today. Now I got the one I got last night and my flexpay one coming in a few days now lol.

I called Sideshow yesterday after a friend called them to see if they got a new shipment in and to see if he could go ahead and pay off Dec's flex pay (on top of Nov) in order to get him earlier. When he told me they let him, I called right away, and now were both getting them wed. Stoked!

Finished the faceplate mod and just cut up a custom cape for him. Voila.

The material is black, not purple. No smartass comments! It's the phone camera.

Parts of my figs armor is not straight and it's sewn that way. Sigh.
