First Order Hierarchy (I think this is right, gathered from Visual Dictionary plus my assumptions)

-Supreme Leader Snoke
-Kylo Ren
-General Hux, Commander of Starkiller Base
-Stormtrooper Commander Captain Phasma (Captain is a simplistic term not indicative of rank)
-Admirals (Black Armband with Red/Black/White stripes)
-Colonels/Major (Teal/Aqua color Pauldrons/Arm Bands)
-Captains (Red Pauldron, Hot Toys call these "Officers")
-Sergeants (Black Pauldron)
-Squad Leader (White Pauldron)
-Stormtrooper Weapon Specialists (Flametrooper, Riot Control Trooper, Heavy Assault/Gunner Trooper)
-Regular Stormtroopers

Squad Formation
A squad consists of ten troopers. One Squad Leader. One weapon specialists that can include on of the following: Flametrooper, Riot Control Trooper, Heavy Assault Trooper. Eight regular Stormtroopers.

What about the Knights of Ren?

Woah. That makes her more interesting. I cancelled before the movie, but actually liked her performance in TFA. I don't think I want her, but she was still pretty cool.

I have a feeling she'll def be holding a grudge against Finn in VIII after he humiliated her. Then we'll see her show her skills.

Here are the full details.

Are people in here still planning on throwing down $270 on this figure after seeing the movie? :lol

Didn't expect her to be so worthless. She never even fired her blaster and was used as comedic relief. I loved the trash compactor bit though, they should have shown Han and the gang throw her in.

:lol

There's no connection to this character what so ever. All she did was fail at her job in regards to the finn situation, and then to later fail again and get tackled by a wookie.
People had this on preorder because it looked cool and also possibly because they were hoping for a strong female character since thats what's cool these days.
It's more logical to cancel a preorder on a bad character than to buy the figure in hopes that she'll be better in the next film's. Considering how bad this one was, how much faith can someone have?

So basically women shouldn't be in combat roles. Lol

Guys the are building these new characters, yea I agree for someone being constantly introduced in trailers, she should of had a bigger scene. Anyway I think this was an introduction and in the sequels we will see if she turns into a bigger player. Im sure she survived that trash compactor ;)

She's still a cool character and we've been told she will be prominent in future movies.....plus....so shiny....

I think people's imaginations are lacking if they had this on PO before the movie and are now cancelling b/c her role wasn't prominent enough. So if she had a couple 'pewpew' scenes she'd be badass somehow? There is no nostalgic connection to this character, regardless of before or after, so anyone that ordered, ordered b/c it looked cool. It still looks cool (and whatever didn't happen in the movie that you wished happened, you can just... god forbid... imagine happening... with your own mind... instead of JJ's...). OK to keep your PO folks. The fickleness of this hobby is ridiculous. :lol

Hot Toys figures sales have nothing to do with collectors' "imaginations". That makes absolutely no sense. I can perhaps see that happening with a 5 year old and his/her Hasbro 3 3/4" figures but not with $230+ dollar figures.

Not sure where you picked up that people were advising others to not "keep" their pre-order of this figure. I honestly don't remember reading those posts. I'm sure there are plenty of people that pre-ordered all of the figures prior to seeing the film. I'm also sure that there are even more people that waited/are waiting to see the film before placing any pre-orders. Many have mentioned the same, including myself, on multiple threads.

If Phasma had indeed had at least one "pew-pew" scene, it would of course have provided her with some much needed badassery. Instead we get her doing absolutely nothing worthwhile except looking cool in chrome. A good example is the "Mandarin" figure from "Iron Man 3". Previews showed that character to appear to be a great protagonist. The film proved otherwise. Figure sales were definitely affected (for the worst) because of the role, even though that figures head sculpt is one of Hot Toys best.

Everyone is entitled to buy what they want but I only mentioned that it's my opinion that the figure's sales numbers (if manufactured in significant quantities) will be lower because of the role and thus may go on discount. Nothing to do with telling others to cancel their PO's or not use their imagination. :lol

They should have made Phasma VS Finn in the light saber duel rather than a random riot trooper. Makes much more sense and also would redeem her (even if it is interrupted by Han and Chewy's blaster.). I don't get it why a random trooper would hold that much grudge to Finn yelling at him being a traitor. Phasma, on the other hand would be perfect in that role. Oh well. Makes me think that Phasma was added in somehow as an afterthought while a lot of the movie has been already filmed?

I don't think this post is for most people. I read too much logic.

This film could have been written better by chimps.

Phasma was actually in the film from the early stages, actually intended to be a male character as well.

The question is why some people are so worried that others will still pick this up?

I'm baffled that Phasma had so little to do in this movie. Such a shame, because what a gorgeous design! And I kinda want this figure, but....geeze. She was awfully boring.

Dont get the negativity film was superb
character design on phasm does look really nice but im not buying them for that sole purpose

This was the worst movie I've ever seen. It makes terminator genesys and the prequels look like masterpieces. Not trolling.
