I'm surprised but not surprised. I actually thought it was priced incredibly reasonably for what you got, so raising the price seems fair. I seriously seriously considered ordering it, but lack of space won out.

He had to put all his prices up across the board I think, was getting to the point where he was just eating too many additional costs.

I caved on the Jazz Inc Rey's Speeder yesterday, just before the prices increased. Was on the fence for the longest time.
Seriously considering that as well even with the price hike. There is something about that design I really love and I hate the ST for creating something so cool and then barely using it. How typical.

That's not a problem unique to the sequel trilogy.

The one thing I’ll give the ST is the visuals.
Ah what could have been. Still remember the excitement of seeing the New Republic and waiting and waiting for some presence or Planetary Defense systems to join in the fight. Really missed opportunity to bring Chandrilla at least on screen and represent a bolstered Resistance. And everything remotely interesting in the TLJ is immediately destroyed in the same movie like the Bombers, the Dreadnaught, the Raddus, Snoke etc.

Some of that could describe the PT like Maul, Jango, Dooku and Grievous “dying” one movie in but it’s not as drastic, prevalent or thrown away after a set piece like in ST.

Rey is back from the workshop at last!

The wide eyed expression on the stock head always bugged me, so I finally got a 1/6 painter to redo the eyes, add some more obvious teeth (Daisy Ridley often has her front upper teeth showing) and add some actual hair sideburns.

I also gave her a **** reduction to improve the overly busty stock look.

Got around to snapping some pics of Rey, and I think she looks very good overall, even for a relatively older figure. The tailoring on the costume is well done as well as all the pleats and folds. The head sculpt is great too, I think it captures the actress's likeness pretty well. The figure is fantastic and it's awesome to mix her in with my other heroines!

I know for some they would be categorized as a "Mary Sue", but for me I don't view the term "Mary Sue" as derogatory and/or diminutive. For me I'm quite allured to strong, powerful heroines. (Not just in physical powers/strengths, but in persona as well, for instance, Ripley and Sarah Connor.)

Agreed. A better expression for the scavenger look. Is that TLJ Jedi Training sculpt? The expression looks like it, but I can’t tell if the longer hair is simply concealed under the shawl.

It's the ROS sculpt. Easier to fit under the head wrap. They do have similar expressions though
