Midichlorians bothered the %&#! out of me. Talk about quantifying something to the point that it contradicts what Yoda said... (how does a rock or tree have Midichlorians in them?)

George was the creator but he only directed one good Star Wars movie and one half way good one (which is debatable I know but Revenge of the Sith has its moments in my book). TFA very much feels like a Star Wars movie to me. I could have done with something other than a spherical super weapon to be the climatic device but the rest more than makes up for that.

Yeah I agree that the third planet destroying battlestation was too much. I do enjoy tfa though

If anyone wants a cheap BB-8 there's this one:

Is that 1/6 scale? Haven't seen anything like that in the UK, or mentioned on Rebelscum. Have Hasbro or Disney done 1/6 figures for TFA?

They're 12" scale. Haven't seen a price on these, apparently they just hit shelves at one Target in Indiana so maybe they got put out early and are supposed to be timed with the Blu Ray release. From what I read though this line is extremely inexpensive so people are guessing around $29.99 for the set.

Didn't see any info on lights. Probably see more info on these in the next couple weeks.

You picked that up wrong. Midichlorians aren't in everything... The FORCE is in everything.
The Midichlorians in Force sensitive individuals allow them to sense, feel, use and manipulate the force. It's like someone wearing glasses that allow them to see infra-red, where the lenses are midichlorians, and the infra-red lightwaves are the force. The waves are there, even when no-one sees them, but with the lenses(Or midichlorians), are used, you can see them as clear as day.
I understand it was something that didn't need quantified. But it was, lol.

The vaguer the Force is the better. ANH got it right - it was somewhere in the background until the moment when Luke turned off his computer to blow up the Death Star. The Force made this moment possible - the pivotal moment of the film, showing the victory of man over machine - and that's all it was ever good for.

Thanks for the info. I'd love to see them do Rey's speeder in this scale.

The more you try to explain it, the stupider it sounds.

One of the things they tried to avoid from prequels was midichlorians. It was definitely a concept I was never keen on. I loved all the mystery surrounding the Jedi and their powers. Then suddenly it just depends how much bacteria you have... I also thought there were far too many Jedi in the prequels. But just my opinion. I think prequels are always difficult for long time fans of something because they will already have an image in their head of what things should be like and when it doesn't match it's upsetting.

I also hated the midichlorians.

Suddenly, the best weapon against Jedi is antibiotics. Lol

Midi-chlorians sounds like a sexually transmitted disease.

It's no wonder Anakin looked so unwell when Luke took his helmet off.

Prequel bitching...don't you guys have a new Zack Snyder film to grouse over?

Nope.

Those are my favorite hobbies. Collecting figures and prequel bitching.

Btw, why are you bitching about my prequel bitching?
