I'm so pumped to see what my Marvel collection will look like by the end of the year! Spidey, Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider, Punisher (saves)! Hot damn!

You could also add War Machine.

I can bet my cat's 455 on the line that there is going to be an extra BD/ Toby head sculpt coming with the spidey figure. I'm sure it will, its gonna be a big blow to the A-list head sculptors if they don't.

War Machine's a lesser Marvel character on the order of a Falcon, Rick Jones, or Jubilee. Like Flosi, I have no intention of having that figure in my collection unless I find an extraordinarily good deal on it. But I will have all those he listed by year's end :hi5:

or AT LEAST what they could do is give an extra camera attached to some web with flash so he could be posing as P.Parker on the job while being spidey!

Nah sorry War Machine is a few steps above those folks and even above Blade as well (who I like the movies on). The figure itself is also well worth getting.

Wow. You put WM in the same class as jubilee or even rick jones?? Jeez. I can tell you as an owner of a WM figure, he is one of the coolest HT products. Get him in hand and you'll turn into an 8 year old. Fun, fun figure.

Will this be the first HT with a fabric mask?

I'm sure there will be lots of folks who have Black Widow, Odin, War Machine, all 6 Marks, Tech Mech Tony and on and on, but I'm going for main heroes only at this point. Being a completest with the HT Marvel lines is going to get really expensive, really quick!

All the secondary characters will prevent me from displaying the main heroes together too. If you buy Odin then you have to display him with Thor, War Machine with Iron Man, etc. I want Cap, Thor and IM displayed together... And maybe one day a Hulk as well. :lecture

You don't have to display stuff like that. People said that about rocky, drago , clubber, and apollo. Otherwise you could miss out on some cool figs (like that kick ass War Machine).

As I recall in the IM comic books Rhodes took over for Tony Stark when he hit rock bottom and he eventually had his own comic book as War Machine. He's quite far above all those secodnary characters you listed.

I think WM had his own title a few times over the years. And frankly, his name is WAR MACHINE and he's basically a flying tank with a suped up arsenal. That, by itself, should carry some weight over jubilee and rick jones.

I agree with you guys, WM is a step or three above the characters Sam (Karamazov) listed but at the same time he's more than a few steps below Cap, Thor and IM.

He was part of that late 80's, early 90's Marvel fad of taking a main character and then making some copycat version of him. Beta Ray Bill, Venom, US Agent, War Machine, Vengeance, etc (Even Red Hulk in the last few years). The formula got a little stale and predictable after awhile.

Yeah, War Machine is definitely the epitome of what a B Team guy is. He's very cool as-is, but he's just not in that top tier level of guys. But at least he has a very cool design going on for him
