Is CSC faster than SS usually? I know they get theirs from them, but i thought i heard them shipping faster than SS somewhere. Anyone order from them lately?

CSC got their T1 1984 Terminators way before Sideshow. I actually felt bad that I dropped my order with sideshow to buy from CSC.

For this Spider-Man I'm just going to hold off until the US stores get them. Which ever store gets them first is the store I'll go with.

:horror No kidding. Everyone remember to be very gentle with this figure. The body is enclosed in the costume. Don't want to risk breaking any joints. I know HT is more durable than Medicom but still be careful. :lecture

I found one MIB a few years ago for pretty much the original price and I dare not take it out of the box for fear of breaking it like many others who had this figure. After one year of keeping in MIB I finally sold it to a fellow collector who like me, dare not take it out of the box to pose it.

The Medi is a fantastic comic spidey but the fragility is really just plain ridiculous.

Damn it, this is probably going to make me put in the Spider-Man films now. I really can't wait to own this. I think, yeah, this is my first Marvel figure actually.

Not really a fan of Iron Man, Thor or Blade. Came close to Wolverine, but really didn't like the his "civilian" look. Definitely getting Spidey though.

I bought Wolverine and the first Iron Man Mark III. I regret the latter. The fact that they went on to make better ones and the colour fading issue...plus truth be told I am not and have never been Iron Man fan. Wolverine was a childhood favourite so I had to buy him. Blade, I considered but ultimately passed as I've never really considered him a superhero/comic book character. I had never even heard of him till the first movie came out and even then still wasn't aware he was based on a comicbook character.

And now I'm just gonna have to buy this Spiderman. Captain America looks to be astounding and probably wouldn't be bettered by a future figure but again I have no childhood memories of Cpt.America toys or cartoons like I do Spiderman and the X-men so I'll pass. Though undeniably he'd look something else on the shelf. Thor I simply have no interest in whatsoever. I've heard the film is good but I think hes one of the more ridiculous 'superheroes' with a fairly stupid outfit.

Man, sometimes I wonder if we were separated at birth.

Captain America owns all in my opinion, but this looks like it'll be my second favorite. I've always been a big Spidey fan.

I've always been a big Spidey fan.
Me, too, since I was 2 or 3 years old. I've got very fond memories of watching Spiderman and His Amazing Friends on Saturday mornings, and watching the 60s cartoon in the morning before school. My dad even drew him on a big poster for me, since you couldn't exactly find Spidey posters in the stores back then. I had the Secret Wars figure, the MEGO figure, a gumball machine with Spidey on top, a Spidey back-pack, VHS tapes from Lionel's Playworld, Thermos and lunch box, Pocket Super Hero version with his car, various coloring books (including a huge, 3-4 foot tall one), Secret Wars sticker books, t-shirts and underoos, etc. I found a picture of me and a friend of mine as 4-year olds shooting webbing Spidey-style at the camera a few years ago and wish I could find it.

As a character, he's about 50,000,000 times cooler than a scumbag like Iron Man. And as a kid I knew he was one of the cooler looking superheroes. He's the most iconic Marvel character and one of the greatest comic characters of all times. :hi5:

One aspect I have always loved about Spider-man is that we all can relate to him. Spiderman is essentially the working class superhero.

I mean Bruce Wayne might be human but that guy is a billionaire for god's sake!!! He can have any girl he wants and never have to worry about money.

Spidey has to struggle with unemployment, gf issues, a city that is sometimes against him, an ailing family member, a best friend who turns out to be green goblin, etc... it's like being a superheroes brings him more misery and problems instead of solving them.

Basically, Peter Parker is the most human and normal of all superheroes.
