One aspect I have always loved about Spider-man is that we all can relate to him. Spiderman is essentially the working class superhero.

I mean Bruce Wayne might be human but that guy is a billionaire for god's sake!!! He can have any girl he wants and never have to worry about money.

Spidey has to struggle with unemployment, gf issues, a city that is sometimes against him, an ailing family member, a best friend who turns out to be green goblin, etc... it's like being a superheroes brings him more misery and problems instead of solving them.

Basically, Peter Parker is the most human and normal of all superheroes.

Yeah Peter Parker had to deal with dating a super model, just like I do.

And their relationship didn't always work because of his double life. Dating a super model doesn't always make your life better.

Coming from the entertainment field, I can tell you relationships between people from that field rarely work out well.

As a character, he's about 50,000,000 times cooler than a scumbag like Iron Man. And as a kid I knew he was one of the cooler looking superheroes. He's the most iconic Marvel character and one of the greatest comic characters of all times. :hi5:

Depends on your POV I suppose. Spidey is cool and I watched a few of the cartoons as a kid along with being into comics/movies. I'll put it from my POV that I would take Iron Man over Spidey. If others disagree thats cool.

Yeah I think I would take my chances with a Super Model. I am sure it sucks as much as you said, but I think I would try to deal with it. I'd just have to decide if I go with the blonde or red head. :1-1:

...My thoughts exactly! I'm sitting here staring at packaging pics trying to catch the "WOW" factor that everyone else has, but cant quite seem to grasp it.

Figure is nice though. Was this figure always being listed at $150?

I could've sworn I saw this piece being listed at $134 some places....or maybe I'm thinking about another figure.

Yup, he was, if I am not wrong, for $134.99 at Razor's Edge and Fanboy. Don't remember AE or CSC prices exactly. Now it is going for a minimum of $169 on the bay..

Back in the day, a lot of the online stores didn't raise the prices before they were released or even after they were released. I've noticed a lot of the ones that didn't practice that have started doing it recently. I used to just wait for these things to come in stock to pick them up, but with recent trends of stores raising their prices and pre-sellouts, I've been pre-ordering lately.

I bet as more and more pics show up HK sellers are going to raise their prices when they get spidey in stock, I already notice some have him at $270 without shipping, so I think by next week probably $300-$350 not including shipping. :pfft::mad:

I guess people should get the Pre Orders in with the U.S. sellers before those prices go up.

Proportions of the neck and head look spot on in new pics. Must be a case of posing it correctly. Can't wait as mine has shipped! :rock

I bought mine yesterdayvfrom the bay, but as July the 1st is a public holiday in HK, the seller will have to send it on the 2nd instead.
