I saw that listing you're talking about. A bit overpriced if you ask me but it is what it is. I did it for mine and another board member for like $50.00 I think then he paid shipping to and from. I can't remember exactly. It's been a while. It's kind of a pain but it turns out really nice.

What's the difference between this blue and red version and the black version? Is it just the colour? In pictures the black version looks like it has far better proportions.

No difference in size or proportions. The black version has a removable head,red doesnt. Obviously different insignia' but that is all.

I watched the tutorial on Youtube but its all too scary for me to try.
I would love a Parker head on my Spidey...

....which incidentally I just got today. This is my second attempt at owning a Spidey and man I am rather delighted as the tailoring on this particular figure is way better than on the last one I had.
The previous one had a really large bump on the head from the stitching and this over all is just far tidier.

I do love this figure as he is a proper movie icon I think.

Isn't that from when he first puts on the suit? Man I LOVED that old show/tv movies. I remember when I saw the first pics of the new suit for ASM movie the mask immediately made me think of this show.
