Ah, my old Spiderman vs Superman giant sized annual...why did I ever get rid of it...? :dunno :slap :monkey2

I'm really glad I didn't buy that Spider-Man because the new costume although similar will look even more like in the comics.

I know it's been asked and answered before, but I'll ask again.

I can't get the hand pegs out and me being a HT n00b, I need help. Any advice? I know it's a common issue, but I'll be darned. Can't get them out.

Use a hairdryer - the pegs in this figure are notoriously easily broken if you don't heat them up before attempting to pull them out.

Thanks, Lejuan. 20 - 30 seconds on high? (Again, I DO NOT want to screw this up. :lol)

What I generally do is apply the heat, give the part a wiggle and reapply the heat if it's not budging. But yeh, this generally takes around 20-30 seconds :)

Thanks. Much appreciated. Will try sometime today...and hopefully, I come back with good news, rather than bad news. :lol :gah:

Those were the most 'painful' 30 minutes of my entire life, but....it worked. :lol I have no idea what HTs was thinking when they made those pegs, but I don't plan on ever doing this again, so I'll be sure to think long and hard before I pose this guy next.

Thanks, Lejuan.

No worries :) I think the reason why the pegs are so brittle has something to do with their being red, and how the colouring impacts on the integrity of the plastic? Someone else who knows better might confirm it.
