The battle would explain why it has taken Spidey so long to 'reappear' in the display.

I'm not sure about that, but he'll certainly return without his mask. He likes to take it off in battles doesn't he?

I remember Breakersrevenge (who owns OSB) saying that HT weren't 100% sure on the costume material & that it was still in testing, something along them lines anyway so may be it's that? I think it was on his facebook during the Tokyo expedition.

I remember this being mentioned in an interview with HT CEO in some magazine around the time of the Tokyo show. Chinese or Japanese. Just remember it needing to be translated. Pretty sure nothing to do w OSB

When was Spidey taken out of display? Someone I know went to HK last month and he told me Spiderman is there.

They removed Spidey from the window display.

I have a feeling the webbing around the neck, hands et., on the suit will have some QC issues.

Oh, silly me. It's April now. I kept on thinking it is still March. I guess it was still there is February.

Removing it is a good thing. That means HT will have an even better prototype for display. I hope they fix the chest emblem, the webbing seams and the boots.
