I ended up using a pen cap, one of those cheap BIC ones. works like a charm. get the same look.

Sweet! Thanks for the update, man! I should definitely be able to do that mod then... No shortage of pen caps here... Now if only a certain God of Thunder would show up... :impatient: :lol

Got mine some fews back, took some pics and will post soon. Solid figure except for the 2 hand pegs that had to be "installed" every time I switch hands.... what a pain!

I find the hammer a little too heavy for the figure especially when comes to posing. In time, the joints will lossen and lifting the hammer would be near impossible...."just like in the movies when Thor was banished to earth".

What pen-cap-mod are you all talking about?

Ven stuck a pen cap in the back of his armor to give it a thinner look around the waste, making the legs better in proportion:

nice job robbie! great idea!

edit - i wanted to achieve this look but didnt want to risk cutting anything, so I got a AAA battery and stuck it in the back of his tunic making it tighter and skinnier. nice way of doing this without risking damage.

Re: Fixing/ Modding HT thor, looking for advice.

if you ask over in the thor thread i will answer you questions...many others are asking the same things and that thread is far from dead

Alright then same question ( already did ask here, post seems to have been ignored, but asking again.

Recommended fixes for loose elbows?

and i'm guessing just superglue to put the armored tunic back together?

Do you think the hammer (if raised above his head) will kill this HT Thor? The figures are so awesome, but too fragile to get the poses you want sometimes.

I finally was able to put my Thor up after returning from Comic-Con. I'm surprised how much I like this figure. He's got real potential for some awesome poses.
