The two things that don't go over real well with me are that his legs are too skinny (have thigh pieces coming to fix that issue) and that his helmet looks a little too big (lenght up or down, I don't know which or something), it's just looks off. I can live with both though to be able to have a HT Thor figure.

Now if we can just get a look at CAPTAIN AMERICA. :impatient:
Yup. When I said that this Thor was 'small' I was referring to his overall appearance as a "Thor" character. Needs thicker chest, arms, and thighs.
Just to be clear, I am referring to the movie character. As far as I can see from the proto pics, HT is making the figure just like the movie Thor so it's not their problem/fault.

Yeah too short of hair and the legs when looked at from a side or quarter turned view seem way too skinny and that is in comparison with Hemsworth too. They NEED to bulk areas of him up and not just settle. You see this a lot in military figures, from the side the legs just are too skinny and it almost ruins the entire look of the figure.

Sure looks like they are! Figure looks different though. The head looks more like the one used in the 10th Anniversary Expo. With a slightly darker haircolour than the one showed in the official Specs and Pics...

Could be the lighting though... way too bright it seems...

Can't see the pics. :(

Someone told me Tripple H would have been perfect for Thor. Looks wise it would have been closer but I want a good to decent actor over a muscular one that looks more the part. And I try to think of it in a positive manner and give Chris Hemsworth the benefit of the doubt. at least its not Clooney as Bats, in comic book geek voice: "worst batman ever!"

the helmet looks to fit beter in that pic. so thats nice. but the arms ae still too skinny, that chain mail is like fulding up and baggy all around his arms, they would have been better sculpting it onto the plastic arms, like the texture they did on the predators.

Something about the chest piece seems off. It doesn't sit right. Not too keep on the helmet up close either. Cool hammer though. Think I'm gonna cancel this guy.

I have a nude T1 T800 I was trying to figure what I was going to use it for. Think I try it on Thor with the arms left bare. The T800 has huge thighs that will fill out those pants and the chest armor looks loose enough.

i bet squeezing the arms into the sleeves would look awesome! whats the BUFFEST true type they make?

The T800. I'll try it both ways, with the chain mail shirt and without. Just like the old Thor look where his arms were bare, and the T800 has huge guns. Already pre-order this from Alter Ego as I had 11 points there.

really, i love the chain mail look. i want one EXACTLY like the recent comics actually, all down hs legs too.

Those are some really high contrast picts.
Anyways, where in the world did his hair go to when the helmet is on? His locks totally disappear.
I'd be cautious about forcing the T800 arms into those sleeves especially over the long term.
The low grade rubber HT uses tends to tear with too much tension.

I think bare arms would be better then. Maybe a blond wig under his helmet too. Looks like his hair is removable, so that the helmet sits lower.

Sorry to repeat myself, but looking at those new pics I gotta say that is the blandest head sculpt I've ever seen from Hot Toys.

He looks like he's rearranging his sock drawer.
