IMHO Triple H's physique is much more fit for Thor's character plus he's natural blonde & have a long hair..just like in the comics! :exactly:

Yeh but Triple H sucks as an actor.

I'm late on the HT Marvel train. Thor, Spidey and Cap are must haves for me right now, I can't bring myself to spend the big bucks on an Iron Man fig, they just don't seem that great to me even thought I love the character.

I have never seen one in person though, I bet they jump to the next level in hand.

I seem to remember some hair showing from under the helm in the official HT picts. In these new shots theres jack bupkiss.
Which edges it a little closer to the fail category.

Dont think that this website gives you the complete details. You guys should visit mediworld from time to time. Fish.

"Sheesh" your self.
Most of us have seen these picts already.
I know how its supposed to work with the helm and hair but my post was in reference to a specific stand alone shot that showed him with the helmet on but absolutely no hair.
So I guess thanks for nothing.:wave

I'll take Hemsworth over Triple H any day as Thor.
Thor is supposed to be somewhat handsome and Triple H looks like he's been worked over with an ugly stick.
'sides, wrestlers shouldnt be in multi million dollar budget movies directed by noted Shakespearean actor Brannagh and sharing screen time with Sir Anthony Hopkins.
It upsets the balance of the universe.

I think Im going to wait for the Avengers Thor. Im just thinking this one needs some changes, starting with the hideous hair and scrawny legs.

Don't you think he don't act in WWE too? I think he's a great actor, he just doesn't have enough exposure to Hollywood films but given a chance & an experience, I'm sure he'll do good in this kind of movie.

Anyway back to the topic..:)

all wrestlers in wwe are actors... that's why the rock is an instant and that other guy you can't see me thing! all they do in the ring is act...

Some wrestlers are better actors than others--CM Punk could make a great film villain IMO. And I think Rock has the potential to be a great action star, though I question whether guys like Cena or HHH could do much of anything in film and be good at it.

In any case, as has been pointed out, this is a bit off topic. However, the discussion would fit nicely here if anyone wishes to continue it:

So has there been any confirmation on the body they used for this one? Will he be taller than all the rest? Bulkier? If not, i'll wait until they release one in the right scale. And even though this one has an amazing likeness, the expression is just so bleh. :dunno

Yea, I'm totally turned off by the scrawny legs. I like my men with more muscles in their thigh section :rotfl

Seriously though, I like the headsculp but he looked like a rock star on leather jeans wearing Thor's upperbody shirt :lol

the HS es perfect ...the body looks lame!!! I like to see close to the Iron Man figure!!

While I think HT has been knocking it out of the park with their recent 1/6 offerings, Thor (the real Thor) is just too epic to be done in the constraints of a 1/6 frame. I know this sounds contradictory, but, IMO, the best manifestations of the character exist in static polystone statues. Now this comes from personal bias as I think you really need to superimpose Helsworth's head onto Roland Kicklinger's body (or any other bodybuilder) for the film - Thor just doesn't look right as a skinny dude and while the 1/6 figure bears a spot on resemblance to the film version, it's just not Thor.
