Seriously

this figure just keeps getting better and better looking and it already had a strong start to begin with.

It goes something like this......you see it, you instantly want it.

That's an amazing accomplishment HT has been able to pull off, and it helps that the movie suit design was well done to begin with.

This figure just can't look any better, it's all rather amazing and exciting if you ask me.

Not since Mark 1 have I seen this level of bad assness on display, and truth be told, I like this one better than Mark 1 (the figure, both characters are awesome)

HT, we salute you.

It's worth repeating:

you see it, you instantly want it.

Though the Evans likeness isn't great IMO, it doesn't matter much to me. Obviously, as the movie hasn't been released yet, I don't want this figure because he's a great Evans as Cap figure. I want it because he's a great Cap figure. The fanciest Cap action figure ever released, in fact. Likeness is a secondary concern. I figure that's why 2-in-1 Superman is also so popular, because he looks absolutely nothing like Routh, but folks don't care because he's Superman.

The extremely shiny shield is a bit off-putting at first, but I can see myself digging it.

This is an immediate double purchase.

I just want to stare at one that remains perpetually unopened inside his box :lol

The box alone will be freaking awesome, especially if they use some of these released grimey action photos.

78 CR Superman, 89 Keaton Batman, 2011 Captain America....of my!

Although I do have to agree, mainly because I haven't seen the movie yet, if you notice.....with Superman and Batman, it was just as important for me to use CR and Keaton's name along with their characters name, yet with Cap I left Evans name out.

He's not Captain America to me yet....not like RDJ is IM or CR is Superman (Brandon Routh = :pfft:) and Keaton is Batman (as Bale is also).

But just like the Thor movie proved that Chris Hemsworth is now Thor for everyone......i'm hopefully optimistic that Chris Evans will prove the same.

They better, we have an Avengers movie coming up where they all have to shine!

I'll be ordering from AA or BBTS.

I would imagine they did an Evans sculpt and then sculpted the mask onto it. It will be interesting to see how much that sculpt resembles the actor.

Pictures are so full of Win. :rock

One of the coolest things about this figure is that it just feels like Captain America. Not just looks like him but it feels like him as well. Not sure that makes sense at all or doesn't make me look a tad crazy but hopefully it does.

I was debating on selling the Icons version of Cap, but for a "toy" he's still a pretty cool figure.

+1

Excitement level at max!

BYE!!!!!!!!

More for us. :nana:

I've mine on Layaway at OSB.

:lecture:lecture:lecture

No offense to people who want this figure to be 100 percent accurate but dont forget it's a high end collectible first and not some poorly made hasbro toy. The figure is awesome and if you dont like it welll, you can git outtttttt.

I've never been into Captain America, have never read a single comic and hardly know anything about the character aside from the basic premise. That said, this figure is absolutely stunning, and I'm seriously considering picking him up when he's released. :panic: Would go great with my Mark VI, they would make a great shelf on their own.
Another homerun HT. :clap
