Where are the in-hand pics?........... SS newsletter states he is shipping within 30 days. Still haven't pulled the trigger on this guy, really want to see some pics. I guess it should almost be any day now, right?

Yes I have no problem with you liking the figure, you wanted a bigger spiderman more muscular probably does accentuates those dynamic poses.

Sorry for ya man, I feel your pain. Ive been disappointed with a few pieces when I received them. Now I usually wait for in hand pics to make a final judgement call. In this case,I bought Spidey because of all the wonderful pics from the posters on this forum. I had not paid him a lick of attention until I saw these pics.

When I compare the promo shot you posted to the actual figure, there definitely are slight changes in the body. If Hot Toys would of shaved some meat off of the shoulders,triceps, and quadriceps and gave him a little more Trapezius(upper fibers) muscle, he would be perfect or just like that photo and everybody would be happy IMO.

Hopefully HT took notice and changed things for black Spidey but I doubt it. Either way Im happy. Also if they ever made Venom:pray: he would have to be a bigger more muscular body type than Spidey right? Bigger venom the better! I bet the new "Garfield" Spidey is thinner,you thinking about picking him up?

Thanks for understanding my point of view, it really is a good looking figure if but only if you use dynamic poses for it.

Totally agree with everything you said, I use to pre order hot toys, not anymore after this event. This is the first time I have been mislead by hot toys. Venom should be more muscular and I hope it is bigger than the medicom one was, that is if they ever make it.

I do not think I will pick up the "Garfield" Spidey, I am hoping to stop buying hot toys because they cost so much and some are so far from perfection. I mean nearly $300 for just a figure like 89 Joker with no diorama or anything it is just a figure, that is way too much! Nevertheless, it is the best looking hot toys figure I have seen to date IMO!

Yes I agree, I think the release date for the figure will be delayed.

According to a recent HT Facebook posting just a week ago,the release for the Black costumed Spiderman was pushed up.
I just read my e-mails and it says "item arrival in 21 days" for Black Spidey!:yess:

Got my 21 day notice as well, but it said split shipment so I hope I'm in this first shipment. Fingers crossed.

I got my notice too. But I am on a 2 payment flex pay, April 15 and May 15. It didn't say anything about 21 days. Is that normal? Is everyone getting the 21 email NOT on flex pay?

you could call them and tell them to charge your card for the total when he starts shipping, otherwise youll have to wait till your final flex payment then they'll send your your black spidey
