I'm enjoying this figure, I finally recieved the pieces I needed to finish my Schmidt. I'd also like to give a big thank you to Robbie, he made me a super soldier serum vial a while ago but I was waiting to finish my Schmidt to show it. Thanks again Robbie. I'm still waiting on a WWII german watch to cover up that ugly wrist joint but I'm happy how he turn out.

Got my figures yesterday. Coat futzing has me in tears. Need to wait until I'm feeling better. But the figure itself is terrific. The red is so vibrant. As excellent as everyone's pics are, they just don't do that crimson piping justice.

For those displaying with the trenchcoat, do you display with one belt or two (the plain one and the one with Hydra buckle)?

I think the point of the one is to actually cinch up the jacket and hold it so the decorative belt doesn't have too much strain on it.

Makes sense. Would make more sense if there was an extra mm or two on the decorative belt, because if Herr Schmidt eats one more strudel its gonna snap like a rubber band.

Just got mine, and it's a damn fine figure. My main gripe is the overcoat - it shouldn't be so hard to put it on. I ended up virtually removing the uniform jacket, putting the sleeves of this into the coat, and then putting the arms of the figure through the now combined sleeves. Seemed the only way to stop the uniform jacket sleeves from just bunching up inside the coat and preventing it from going on properly.

Neck articulation could be better too, but that's a minor niggle

Next time mate use any plastic supplied with the figure, wrap it around the uniforms arms and slide the coat on over that then pull the plastic out down the sleeves. Works a charm :)

What body type did they use for this figure.

His own. Its mostly a slim with some narrow parts thrown in. With as tight of a fit as the uniform/coat is I wouldn't recommend getting anything other than an actual Red Skull body if you're looking to build a second figure.

I got a TrueType slim figure for a reasonable price, so now I can display him both ways:

I picked up the following items for him from Toy Soldier Brigade for about $11:

DRAGON German M35 Field Blouse (Hubert Metzger)

Dragon German Officer/Calvary Boots

Dragon German M42 Panzer Trousers - Black (Oblt. Ernst von Bauer 2)
