Someone remind me again why Red Skull costs $200? :dunno

Because A) They know they're not going to sell that many Red Skulls, so his price goes up as the qty goes down.

AND

B) HT already spent all the money and recouped their tooling cost on the first Mk 1. There is no new investment of money in this figure. All of this version is pure profit. Considering this release is about $50 more than the old version it shows you that HT values their headsculps at roughly $50.

I'm thrilled with the price tag- I don't have a Mk I and I'm comfortable with the retail. If you think it's overpriced what do you want it at ? 175? Not any more with HT.

Seems like something they'd do, what was the originals RRP?

I know War Machine was $30 less even though the new version came with less in the box :slap

Would make sense, but I doubt it.

What we have here are the hopelessly addicted who obsessively feel the need to keep paying over and over and over for the same figure with a slight detail adjustment.

I couldn't see a reason to get this if I owned the original. Not at $220. Maybe if I had more disposable income. But then maybe not at all with all the other cool stuff that's coming out. Buy if you want. Don't buy if you don't want. People should try not giving a ____ what others say, or at least stomach it without getting personal and super worked up :lol

Some collectors are obviously having a bit of a whine because their completist tendencies are kicking in. They seem to feel like they are being railroaded by HT into buying a release that they already have (which they do). Funny that.

:exactly::goodpost:

50% of the whiners will end up buying this regardless. :rotfl Complaining is simply the 1st step of the buying process for them.

I don't think I would get this if I still had my Mark I, no point. But, if you don't have one, this is a must! The price is reasonable given how much Mark I's were going for on ebay. I sold too early! I will be happy to own the Mark I again. I would caution people in buying too many of these to flip because we don't know how many will be flooding the market. Usually they are sold out after they ship and this one is being released in the 3rd quarter. It would be nice to know what the edition # is.

They already did, it's called the AMG SLS:

It costs a bit more than the 1.0 version too :rotfl

The 1.0 usually goes for 500k to 700k. Sometimes as much as over a million. I think the new one is cheaper at under 200k.
