You are right! It says August on Sideshow's website! That would be great! I really looking forward to this one!

Me to, me to, I missed out on the Mark I, this will complete my M I-VI, until VII is released, and then the Avengers II movie and then...:slap

Looking better and better all The time. Now we just need a MARK III 2.0 announcement to go with this guy and the spectacular MARK II AU.

Then we will get 3.0 versions of all Iron Man suits with true scale and corrected proportions... :slap

Wouldn't mind it, but why couldn't they get it right the first time?

third batch will be DX versions with a stark fig inside :lol

Same reason why we have iPhones 1-4s (or 1-5 ;) )
..to keep us buying the next better one :lecture :lol

Ya, I had the chance to get a great deal on the Mark 2 unleashed, rereleased mark 4 without gantry, and the mark 5 but passed. I just can't get over not being able to pose them either with palm out firing pose or landing pose punching the ground. What am I going to do? Pose them all in lifeless, static hall of armor positions? I can't have them all firing wrist rockets!

The first release had a strange likeness of RDJ and the skin tone was way too orange.

There's also something about the armor of this version 2.0 that doesn't look right. I think the iron plates look too small, or there's too much space between them, or something. That's just nit-picking though. This thing still looks better.

I like the peice overall and because I missed out on the first version, will be getting this guy. But like you, I noticed that the plates looked smaller and the gaps bigger vs. the first version.

I actually think if I owed the first version, I would have sat this one out.

I just wanted to order one in stock item. Never really sure about this on or WM. Pulled the trigger an order. Both. Turn out why I am not sure. I this I bought the last WM. Was charged tor bout buy not ups shipping info.

I did and still think it looks like a walking junk pile. Still gave in. Thanks to the people who pm Mr picks.

The plates are the same as the first released version. If you compare the first version prototype to this version's pictures, they look different but if you look at the production figure from the first and this one, they are the same.

Yeah, they'd definitely be an asset with all the details on this figure. Thanks for the comparison shots, robbiethepainter.

He does look like a walking junk-pile (while at the same time, looking like something that could actually work), as DrQ2 mentioned, but it's tied as my favourite armour with the classic Mark IV. Ideally I'd have this figure and Mark IV and call it a day on Iron Man.
