I'd like to see HT pull the same stunt on those of you mocking the argument over the stand. Hope they conveniently "forgot" to include your eagerly anticipated headsculpt in the figures you pre-ordered in the package, and see how THAT feels.

that makes sense.

You are having a hissy fit because the didn't include a plain black stand, so now you're HOPING the exclude and actual head sculpt in another figure to spite those who don't agree with you?:slap

No, but its not far away from what HT is capable of doing, i.e. shortselling customers.

If it had no stand i'd understand the kerfuffle. but since i thas a dio it's not a big deal, except they're charging you for the stand (since it was among the specs when price was set) and not providing it.

But you can get a black stand from ebay for less than $5.

Whats the big deal?

The big deal my dear friend is not that cheap stand as much as it is their unethical business practices. If they made a gaffe with the specs, at the very least they should apologize to the customers. But no, they prefer to delete things from the specs sheet.

A text book case of re-writing history :lol

But they also said that the original was limited edition! but they still re-issued it :slap They do what they want, they always have :pfft:

Internet message boards are generally so full of crap that a degree in Scatology would be be a good choice.

Ha! Me likey!

But on the matter of the stand, i'm not that bothered about whether it comes with a stand BUT I definately see where people are coming from as far as the principal of the matter is concerned.

Hot Toys said they were going to include something, they did not include it. Whether it was a stand, a fist or a head sculpt is irrelevant, they allowed their customers to purchase an product with a set of items they said would be included and have not delivered.

Some have said that the images shown are of the prototype and are subject to change. That's right. The prototype is subject to change. That will mean headsculpt and paint apps etc, change and not include are completely different things.

It's a bit of a sly thing to do, but it's done now so what can ye do? Bugger all!! Lol!

On another note, i'm starting to really like the dio bases, been using them more

Well the limited edition thing is different, cos they didn't reveal their production quantity numbers, i.e. limited in the sense that they won't produce more than their set limit. But, if accessories are written in black and white conveniently omitted, now that's a breach of contract agreement between customer and vendor.

Oops, sorry for mentioning the word contract here. What was I thinking mentioning that in this forum? It's a business term :lol really, not kidding about the business law class; it helps you know your rights as a customer and identify a breach in contract agreement when you see one.

Anyway it says product not final and could change! so they can do what ever they want.
My god you guys better not start collecting 3A they say the same and theres always something different between manufacture and end product.

By that I think they meant the figure itself, not the accessories included.

Yeah but at least there products are never to be made again unlike the for ever re-issueing Hot Toys.
I just bought the 3A Halo figure and so its nice to know that they wont bring it out again later down the line :yess:

And you are doing a great job at trying to make yourself seem WAY above the rest of us with you infinite know of the business law and plain black stands.

You have every right to not be happy. But there is no need to try and make anyone feel like they are beneath you. You have no idea what everyone here does for a living. There may be some lawers, judges, law enforcement. Maybe a few doctors.

You have every right to voice your opinion. BUT IN MY OPINION, intelligent people can voice their dissatisfaction about something without insulting others.

I don't proclaim to be intelligent; what I stated was a fact, because that's what I learnt from that class. I'm just trying to state the benefits of the class, so i apologize if I offended anyone lol

So i guess it's ok to mock others because that person has knowledge of 1 subject but not ok to inform the same people of the benefits of that same subject?

I'm just urging people to know they have rights as consumers and not just take everything that companies throw at them willingly. Gee, why so serious dude?!

You ask why I'm so serious? You're the one telling people to know their business law. You're the one freaking out about a stand for a toy. Its clear who's being serious.

Its all good man. No harm no foul. Just toys.
