They're not all going to be released in one month. They're just SAYING that.

I honestly do not expect Loki before June. For real. Adding a year to the original release-date is looking like a really valid strategy, when estimating.

Hulk is going to be 3rd or 4th quarter. You just wait and see.

Sad thing is you are probably right :( :gah:

What even worse is now it seems that everything is going to be released in March. 7 figures at the same time. That's a lot of cash and once.

Has HT ever released 7 figures in the same month? I would be very impressed if they could pull that off without a LOT of QC problems.

They are going to be posting teasers for IM3, Thor 2 and probably movies like Pacific Rim, all before they are done releasing figures that have already been preordered. :(

I'd be cool with the following:

Mid Feb: Bane
Late Feb: Joker 2.0

Early March: Thor
Mid March: Black Widow

April: Wolverine
May: Hulk
June: Loki/MK VII

Not even counting Coulson and Catwoman in there.

Thats how I foresee things going

Well Bane and Joker have already been confirmed as March by Sideshow so straight away your foresight needs tinkering with :wink1:

You might be fine with Loki in June, but not all of us are. Especially for a figure whose original ship-date was in December 2012, IIRC.

I doubt it...SSC posted a march release date for about 5 figures. I believe they did so because the get flooded with calls from customers everytime a release date for a figure nears. Just list them all with a March release date to shut people up for a while. That's my theory anyway. We shall see. I highly doubt we'll go through all of Jan and Feb with no releases.

Judging by your board content you have a man crush on Loki... but hey, good thing that is MY list of preference and not YOUR list. That is the list, as it states, that I would be cool with.

And yes I'm aware what SSC website states for Bane and Joker, but hey... they NEVER change their release schedules, do they? Nope, never, not once, ever... wouldn't dream of it.

Someone buy this guy a beverage of his choosing.

Look if I worked for something like SSC or BBTS I would get damn tired of collectors calling "Your site says March and it's February 28th and I haven't gotten a notification that my items has shipped whaaaaaaa" and you would too.

I completely support their decision to put "March 2013" on a release they'll get in February. It has multiple benefits:

1. They can look like the cool guys and say "I know we said March and you've waited for Figure X but hey, we got him in early for ya! Aren't we just swell?"

2. Like dysokyra said it's a buffer. Sure it says March, but the three conversations I've had with their reps said "late January/early February for both Joker 2.0 and Bane. They add the time on there so they don't list it as February and then customs/shipping/variable circumstance comes into play and causes a delay. SMART BUSINESS.

If you think they'll release...

1. Catwoman
2. Joker
3. Mark VII
4. Bane
5. Camo Tumbler
6. Hulk
7. Wolverine
8. Spider-Man
9. Thor
10. Loki

So if you think they're going to abide by their listings and have $2,745 worth of Hot Toys figures released within a four week frame you got another thing coming.

So, within the last week of January to the first week of March I see them releasing Bane, Joker, Thor and MAYBE Black Widow.

I could very well be wrong, but I know they won't release all 11 in one month. No way.

You don't follow Spidey? :horror :thud: :medic

:lol

I enjoyed the film, I just don't think much of the figure. I think we'll get him end of March or early April.

Oh but you and I have likely become public enemy numero uno with the "I'm cool with the figures not getting released all at once" deal. This is the collector market we're talking about... instant gratification.

If they want to delay a product to help the MAJORITY of their customers recover from the holiday season and larger purchases and potentially improve on stuff they very likely saw the same collectors complain about (that now complain that their figure is delayed) please- bring it on.

Hurry up and wait boys.

I flexpay everything so it really makes no difference to me...if I had to pay full price all at once, I'd be getting less than half of the figures I'm getting. That being said...I do tend to get anxious/excited/slightly impatient once my final flexpay is charged :monkey3
