From my view the nostrils are too wide and not flared enough. The ears are slightly too low. I think the comparison makes them look way too low because of the slightly different angle. The real Hemmy's head is tilted down more than the Hot Toys' head. The jawline is a little too broad. And the eyebrows are too furrowed for my liking.

It's a decent likeness that needs some adjustment. I still think it's worth picking up.

Only b/c of perspective. Cap is not only further away from the camera be he is all further back into the shelf while Thor is closer to the front of the shelf and closer to the camera therefore he's definitely going to look bigger

I see the official pics and go "no, not enough like Hemsworth". Then I see pics like the one above and go "oooh yes yes, buy!".

Also, there's a definite hairline across the top there isn't there?

I have a very large soft spot for this figure. It was the first HT we'd bought for some time (the one before this was the DX01!) and it was a present from my wife to me last autumn.

I was thrilled as anything! I have always been a fan of The Avengers.

Wait til you see the new Thor next to the old version, it will be much more impressive. Larger in size and better proportioned. Can already see much more vibrant looking features.
