It still gets me sometimes just how perfect Marvel cast their movies, Hemsworth is such a great Thor. If Hot Toys continues to improve their sculpting I can see my Thor collection growing past just the Avengers version.

Very good looking considering the cost is next to nothing. A good reuse of the older Thor version for anyone who's getting the new one as well.

One of the points the author was making is that NO ONE can possibly look good in a superhero costume. I dont agree: its very rare to see someone look good in one, but it does happen.

Not in ones that specifically adhere to the designs in the comics, though based on what he's writing and referencing I don't think he's read comics in some time, and is unaware that modern comic characters tend to have more "real" costumes than in the past - ie costumes with seams and pockets and wrinkles. This is, ironically, the impact of film and television on the page - the texture added to the costumes meant to reflect the costumes that were imperfect representations of what was on the page.

Just as a side note...I certain areas of the UK, the term 'Elbow Bending' can refer to drinking heavily.

Which is perfect because that is what I shall be doing, after I have paid for all of the blasted Avengers!

Huh, interesting, I'll have to remember that for the future, thanks. Yeah, I think I'll be doing some elbow bending once I pay for them as well. lol.

I hope for the next movie they change things up a bit, maybe give us a clean shaven Thor and a heavily bearded Thor. We've gotten plenty of the middle ground, give us a couple other looks and that'll make me buy a lot more toys.

Yeah, I probably will, but it wouldn't hurt to have a Thor head with some differences in the future. Maybe we'll get the casual version, I mean.. his hair looks washed in that scene I guess, lol.
