I wish they would just leave the god damn suit alone instead of giving into peer pressure and changing it!

There was nothing wrong with the suit before; adding the band is going to make it look gimmicky and cartoon like again, totally taking away from the darker feel of these movies :(

They shouldn't change it to convert the haters, they won't be converted and only the actual fans will be affected.

That being said some tweaking like adding a functional belt for tracers and web cartidges would be great.

I just hope they keep the logo as it's awesome

Does anyone have a pic of the spidey costume with the belt everyone's talking about?

Well, not from the film... But in the Amazing Spider-Man game, he actually has the belted look. It is where he keeps he extra web cartridges-

I actually really dig the belt look. Helps make the costume feel a little more classic, and it plays homage to the original comics (Spidey wore a belt under his costume where he stored his cartridges and "spider-signal"). I am hopeful that one of the 3rd party companies makes a nice belt and backpack to augment the upcoming HT Amazing Spidey.

Suit looks really great there. I prefer the texture that that image seems to convey more than the HT does. I love the costume design but very unsure about the figure. That pic from the game though looks great.

We went to Comikaze in September, and Activision was doing a special where if you bought the ASM video game for $49.99, you got to come back later and meet Stan Lee and take pictures with him.

Haven't even opened the game yet.....but have the photo with The Man hanging in my office. ;)

Anyone here actually play the ASM video game? Any good? Its on sale on black friday and was thinkin about grabbing it...

i actually loved it, played it on the PS3 and it is one of the few games that I actually got out of the way to get every single trophy

Belted look is the very reason why I'm passing on this one.
Waiting for HT ASM2 :)

I really enjoy it... It reminds me of the old Spider-Man 2 game. You can either choose to play the missions, or you can just swing around the city looking for muggers and car thieves. Plus, it is pretty easy to unlock extra costumes for the game... So if you are more of a fan of the Raimi films like me, you can put him in the suits from the original trilogy (Red and Blue & Black) and pretend your playing as Tobey Spidey. ;)

The swinging isn't as fun as 'Spiderman 2' though. What are his web lines connected to sometimes? The clouds? :slap

If they add an "actual" belt, like in the game, for cartridges etc, then I am all for that! But if they're changing the suit to add a waistline just cause some comic book *****es moaned like little twats, then I am against it!

I'm glad I am getting this figure as I love the suit and think changes to the design will ruin it.

Better for a little ***** like you to moan like a twat on a forum, right? :lol
Hard to respect the opinion of someone that can't respect anyone elses.
