Because the Raimi classic' version with functionless belt was what, practical? Nope pure flare.

I'll say it slowly....It's a Spiderman movie...that's why the hero looks like Spiderman. Now, with something that is a very logical addition to what he had tried out before.

I don't know Nova, I kind of like it. It's nothing like Venom sadly, it's all flare, and not the least bit practical...but it's got something that I like. If it were wearing a red belt it would be perfect! Possibly...in ASM-III

A functional belt for ASM2 would be great as it hasn't been done before on-screen and it'd actually serve a purpose for the character.

Just got done finaly seeing this film some parts i didnt like but loved the webslinging a lot and glad to see they improved upon on that aspect , never seen him websling like that in prior 3 spidey film's. I was gonna order this one regardless if liked movie or not...I just wish lense'ss were silver or chromed but that's the only nitpick besides hott toy's including a skateboard ,camera ,backpack. I'll be picking those up and another goblin stand for webslinging pose's. Look forward to next film and this figure...The only real change's woiuld make is not casting Sally field as Aunt may and uncle bens story seemed to rushed. Any way hurry up spidey he will rock ...

i actually loved it, played it on the PS3 and it is one of the few games that I actually got out of the way to get every single trophy

I really enjoy it... It reminds me of the old Spider-Man 2 game. You can either choose to play the missions, or you can just swing around the city looking for muggers and car thieves. Plus, it is pretty easy to unlock extra costumes for the game... So if you are more of a fan of the Raimi films like me, you can put him in the suits from the original trilogy (Red and Blue & Black) and pretend your playing as Tobey Spidey.

Anyone here actually play the ASM video game? Any good? Its on sale on black friday and was thinkin about grabbing it...

Yeah, once you beat it 100%, there's zero replay value, but the game itself is a blast, webslinging through Manhattan.

If I had tried to get that into the UK, the import duty would have killed any joy of having it.

There are two ways I could have got it...

1) Amazon, but then I would have been stuck with import duty. Or I could have prepaid import duty via Amazon anyway...which amounts to the same thing more-or-less.

2) I could order it from places like DVDWorld USA - which I actually did anyway as I have log experience with them - or Axel if they were still around, where you prepay at the very front end.

Either way I'd have to pay extra.

I saw that boxed set at Target. I'd say the figures are between the scale of 5" - 7" tall from what I remember.
