Better for a little ***** like you to moan like a twat on a forum, right? :lol
Hard to respect the opinion of someone that can't respect anyone elses.

But I ain't the one moaning to the extent that movie makers feel that have to change a costume design so not to damage the films future reputation/sales.

I don't think that's the reason they change suits at all. I think they change it because they can. They have a budget to create costumes so they use it to keep things fresh and interesting. If continuity was foremost on their minds they wouldn't change them at all. If budget was on their minds they'd just reuse what they used last time. If you have a budget to spend on wardrobe and costumes, and were a costume designer, you'd want to come up with something different everytime. Same old gets stale and stagnant. Every designer wants to be recognized for their work so they come up with new ideas and designs all the time.

I don't think they really care what the fans think that much. Maybe a little but not much.

So, you're mad because they're not as ineffectual as you are? :lol

:exactly: The belt is a tweak and a nice throwback. Plus, we'd have people complaining he never runs out of webs. :rotfl

Have I complained about a belt? I just said I like the idea of a utility belt. What I don't want is the red waste band added to the actual costume.

If they add an "actual" belt, like in the game, for cartridges etc, then I am all for that! But if they're changing the suit to add a waistline just cause some comic book *****es moaned like little twats, then I am against it!

I'm glad I am getting this figure as I love the suit and think changes to the design will ruin it.

Agreed, change for function makes sense, change for the sake of haters dosn't

You and your boyfriend are the only "haters", if you like the change, why would you predicate it on why they changed it? Thats the definition of being a hater. :lol

Its only a "good" change if its not based on the ideas of people you don't care for? PATHETIC, even for you.

They're changing it to appeal to the haters of the current suit & movie while disregarding the fans of the suit and movie. Taking a crap where they eat.

Changing the suit won't magically make those who wanted SM4 or didn't like ASM pay to see ASM2.

So it's a change for the wrong reason, unless it's a change for the benefit of the on-screen character. Adding a belt line isn't something he would bother doing as it doesn't offer any benefits to his costume, but adding an actual belt would as it's functional and useful.

Answer me this... why would Peter take the time to add a red strip around his waist? What reason?

New suit = more toy sales

Not entirely true. The first two Raimi ones had essentially the same costume only with slight tweaks. And when it comes to toys they have jetpack and underwater variants anyway

At least those haters are smart enough to figure out what they like/dislike without worrying what other people like, unlike you. He'd put a belt in for the same reason he made all the web designs anyways. Pull your head out of your ass, you may see a little more clearly. The whole costume is a piece of flare otherwise he'd be more tactical looking like Venom, is it really that hard to understand?

Batman changed his suit because his others were destroyed (Batman Forever) captain america changed his suit because his first was a military uniform (Avengers), iron man changed his suit to upgrade the tech (all) batman changed his suit again to be more flexible and faster (TDK)

If Spidey changes his suit for a reason then it's all cool, changing it for the sake of changing it makes no sense.

Just because you want a belt strip doesn't make it fit with what the character would do in the actual film universe. Would be the same if people had campaigned for the Raimi suit to remove the belt, there's no logical reason for the character to do so.

Question: Why would the character do it, for what reason would he add a superflous red strip to his waist?

Answer: There is no damn reason.

Adding a functional belt like in the game would at least make sense as he could use it to hold web cartridges and other devices. Adding a useless coloured strip makes none.

Question: Why would the character do it, for what reason would he addany of that superflous crap?

Answer: There is no damn reason, but I touch myself wondering about it.

And knowing is half the battle. Get back in the closet poser.

ah insults, the last ditch attempt to deflect from the fact that the crap they've been spouting can't be salvaged, how quaint. :lol

Since you've now proved you can't provide a logical answer for the question as to why he'd bother adding a superflous red strip around his waist, give it a rest.

:lol at the insults, since you know you can't provide a logical answer.

Perhaps he should add this to his costume

Would be as equally useful as adding a pointless red waistband

You want serious answers? You being a retard doesn't have anything to do with Spidermans costume. You're apparently mad because someone likes the Spidey belt and you think its okay for them to add it if it suits "your ideas of why it should be added" back to square one, you're pathetic. You trying to probe into the mind of a "fictional" character just makes you look even dumber, but you just don't get it. Everything you've said reeks of self entitlement to the point I'm sure you have turds in your teeth.
