The X3 one is nice, but I prefer the XMO. Garfield Spidey looks terrific, but he seems... plain for the amount of money they are asking. Just doesn't catch me dead on.

Yeah, both him, and especially the X3 Wolverine seriously lack some accessories for their price tag.

I get what you mean, he's too light on accessories. a loose mask to hold, camera, backpack or special base wouldn't have been difficult for them at all

I'll likely get X3, but I'm wondering if they'll release a "The Wolverine" one. My brother is doing some design work and seems to think the brown/tan suit will be included in the movie. He did some stuff for Iron Man 3 and called the trailer for it. Having two won't be bad, but I'd rather have one I love rather than one I love and one I kinda like... that space/funds could go to another joyous addition.

I'm likely to get the X3 too, i haven't ordered yet but it's freaking Wolverine.

They are purportedly to be doing a 'The Wolverine' figure :duuno

That's awesome that your brother is working on The Wolverine. I cannot wait to see it.

A backpack or skateboard would have been really awesome should they have been included with Spidey. A mask should have been a necessity I think.

A backpack and camera would have been solid. The figure is good, don't get me wrong, but the price point is over just a standard figure with nothing really coming with it. The few Garfield head sculpt photos I've seen are on point but nothing really to mark out over.

He's just doing promotional work. He did actual screen work on IM3, Hunger Games, etc. I know pretty much the entire story of IM3, which will be good but not what you likely expect.

He wanted the actual contract for "The Wolverine" but it is DAMN hard to get on to those stylized films. He only knows bits and pieces for design work, but the overall story he is in dark on.

Still, any input at all is great! Especially for something as important as the costume.

I can't wait for Iron Man 3 either. Looks great.

To be honest, out of anything they could have put with the Spidey fig, I'd want it to be a mask. I think there is just unlimited possibilities that we could pose Spidey like with the mask in hand. I'd love a backpack too. He'll, even a carton of eggs. Iron Man got donuts right?

LOL Well this is a what is current made want list. I want Magneto very badly... but I'm not going to hope for something I don't think will happen sadly.

He is having ZERO design input on the design... he has some "creative license" with the VERY detailed scripts he gets for the stuff he is designing, but ultimately he gets paid for a lot of stuff that never sees the light of day. Money is money though.

They really need to provide some more information... I just hope they are improving the sculpt. It isn't bad at all, but the expression didn't really grab me.

His work is directly seen in Iron Man 3... and he admits there is a pride level. There are a lot of prima donnas in the design field that turn down work unless it's promised to be seen. To him if it's used- great. If not then he still got money which provides for his family.

It shouldn't bother him either, the fact he is being chosen in the first place should be pride enough.

Well it's an odd thing. They hire quite a few designers, give them a rough draft of what they want... designers submit 4-5 different deals. If they use it you get paid more, but don't really get credited for it. Pretty much you design something and their in-house design team takes your work, alters it slightly then slaps their name on it.

Classy, right?

Have you seen what your brother submitted? Hopefully the costume will be more in line with the comics. X-Men 1-3 costumes sucked big time.
