Judging by HTs track record. Final products tend to end up better than most of their prototypes. I'm guessing (hoping) this is the case with the figure.

The first Spider-Man figure is a prime example.

Not anymore. Proto sculpts now usually have sharper detail than the production figure's.
As for the costume, it's usually the same for the proto and the production figure - with very minor changes for some.

It looks a little limited, but at ;east it doesn't look like the ridiculous two-piece boot like to dx12. :lecture

Will the wait ever be over, i'm going mad waiting for this guy. :impatient:

I still hope HT make more of this licence. Would love a Connors/Lizard, Gwen, Peter ... it's a shame these will never probably be done :thud:

I know exactly how i'm gonna display him now, he'll be in battle with Norman suited up as Iron Patriot.

It's pretty much a given they'll make the new War Machine from the next iron ****** film, i'll just be pretending it's Mr Osborn underneath

I absolutley cannot wait for this guy, cannot wait. I'm delighted with how it's looking, I really am. February cannot come fast enough.
But the is one thing that really bothers me.

The stitching across the lower abdomen always seems like an extra design. It really bugs me whenever I see it. I currently do not own a HT Spider-Man, so can anyone please tell me,
How noticable is the stitching across the lower abdomen? From the many pictures I have seen, it doesn't even appear as if there is some there. It is so cleanly done.

Do you guys think it will be as noticable in hand?
Do you think HT will fix it by February?
It didn't seem as noticable in the original promo photo.

Regardless, I love this figure! :D
Come on Hot Toys, give us more from this line! :lecture

Yeah, I don't think the Medicom figure as a whole is as bad as it's made out to be. I know that the suit is a little baggy in some poses, but the mask looks great the me, especially the lenses. :lecture
Elvis modded his Medi Spider-Man and posted a pic a few weeks back and it was awesome. He made it more weathered. Crazy good.

The coloring looks great to me in the Medi version, I do wish HT would darken their colors a bit though.

Has there been any new pics of this lately? :dunno

Hot Toys colours don't need darkening, they're spoit on accurate! The suits only appears darker in the film as for the most part the scenes are at night time, in the dark. The scenes when you do see the suit in day light is later in the film when the suit has been severly battle damaged.

I disagree bud. Having seen some of the photo's of this guy I think the suit colours need to be darkened a bit, even if only a small bit. They appear a little bright to me. I will be buying regardless but I do think the suit, particularly the red, could do with a little darkening.

I so want a PF in this pose too

Damn those figures are awful. Back when we had toy biz we had respectable figures and not spiderman with a ****ing rocket launcher. The movie figures were always top notch.

:lol I know. The 6" ASM line has produced some good figures though, more recently a Peter/Spidey with alternate heads, a skateboard and a backpack. It's pretty good to be honest!

Movie figures always had underwater, rocket launcher, jetpack, glider and other weird addition. The Batman movies figs had tons of those
