This isn't classic it's a raimi copy. Spidey doesn't have raised webbing in the comics

ASM suit is cool-ish.. but it ain't classic, c'mon. You're also splitting some pretty tiny hairs on your second point there buddy.

I'm absolutey not. It does have all the classic Spidey elements. Their design and arrangement is the only thing different.

Yes!!!! I love the eyes... and I like this suit better than Raimi suit b/c the web lines are black (like the comic) instead of white.

It's an interpretation just like every other superhero costume. Very few get it 100% comic accurate. Raimi's wasn't comic accurate either as Spidey doesn't have reaised webbing, there were no webshooters and the eyes aren't lenses (that applies to all movie costumes)

I don't recall the eyes being red and on his crotch with the spider logo on his chest being blue with the webbing being white

Orange lenses, black "raised" lines all over his crotch, blue stripes on his gloves, external web shooters, Nike shoes...

What is there to complain about? It seems Spidey fans will never be pleased. At the end of the day, it's Spider-Man. It's not Raimi's SM and it won't feel like Sam's SM movie.

At least to you collectors, you guys get a new suit to buy unlike having Marc use the same costume for all his movies.

Does this have similar traits to Sam's? Yes, but what do you expect? Sam's Spidey suit was very close to the original look so it's quite unfair to say Marc's suit is copying Sams.

And this suit looks better than Sam's so why complain?
We don't even know what his arms and feet look like.

Not to mention the suit always looks better in action.

I think the ASM suit CLOSELY resembles the classic suit compared to any other Spidey suit ( symbiote, scarlet spider, Iron Spiderman etc. )

Kinda like the Ben Reiley suit too. All 3 ( classic, ben reiley and ASM ) have a similar design. Blue and red with black/dark webbing. And yes, they each have their own spins, twists and variations.

It looks too much like raimis that even if it is better people will credit Raimi not Webb. Take away the raised webbing and it'd look more it's own rather than a twin of the old one.

It's akin to TDKR having Batman fighting in the 89 costume. A step back not forward. The only thing fresh about this suit is the eyes, the rest looks 99% the same if a costume from a different film series.

They can make a refreshing interpretation of Spider-Man while retaining his classic element. This is not it, it's a rehash to placate those who were afraid to move on.

And again, they're keeping the key elements too, just changing the detail differences.

They're getting it from the same source material. There are differences to the Raimi costume in order to differentiate between the films, but at the end of the day, it's Spider-Man: He will be wearing red, blue, webbing, and a spider on the chest and back.

No point in clingy so close to Raimi's Spidey's world.

^ it's the raised webbing and the silk-screen material. Thats what makes it near exact to Raimi's one, with a different material and flat webbing it wouldn't scream Tobey's suit at the top of it's lungs.

Yeah, to me it's the best I've seen so far. I guess the new Superman costume sucks, too, since it's blue and red and has an "S" on the chest. *rolls eyes*
