As much as i want this figure, the delay kinda works for me. I've got TWO statues coming in the next 30days




Right now, i wouldn't order the ASM2 suit as i have the SM3 one already and with just the logo and eyes being different it's not worth the inevitable $250 it will be.

Maybe its Toby in the original suit and they are going with THE CLONAGE SAGA.

Marvel will never make that mistake twice.

I think you will be right. I've been on the fence abouit this figure since it came out. Between the $25 valentine coupon, NOVA pointing out a few good things about getting this and now actually seeing that this suit will probably meet its demise in ASM2, I just pulled the trigger for $180.

In hindsight i didn't think the new suit would be THIS different

It certainly makes this one of a kind for sure.

I was actually looking for pics of Pete before he puts on his costume for the School fight. Thats the look i'm gonna go for if a do a kitbach Pete.

Webb gave in to all of the whining. Besides the eyes, this looks like the rami suit. Screw you, anything slightly different or original! Maybe we can get another dumb music montage in the next movie.

I dunno, the way I took it was maybe the first suit was an edgy, more teenage take of Spider-Man and this suit was him kind of growing up? I liked the first suit (despite the fact I wouldn't buy it as 'definitive') but other than the shoes I really liked it. I just don't buy that this new suit is a total cave to internet whining. If you think about it, Spider-Man (as popular as we may think it is) is an afterthought compared to Batman or Avengers. Was there really enough snivelling on the internet to make Webb 'sell out'? I'm dubious.

I too like when something is fresh, like the ASM suit. It kept the key elements but wasn't afraid to be different.

Spider-Man is the most popular Marvel character. Avengers may be currently trending, but Spidey is has been consitantly more popuar than every other marvel franchise. Followed by X-Men and then Avengers.

Hmm, have been reading Spidey since the '70s. :/ How many figures have HT made, though, considering how popular you believe the franchise to be? Wow, a whole 4 of 'em (er, including the up-coming ASM and 'New Goblin' *pukes*).

HT Community posted on FB that this is delayed until March in Japan. I just checked SS website and it still says March. I guess it will be moved to April soon. Not that most haven't expected that.
