I've been quite disappointed with what Hot Toys has had on offer this year if I'm being honest.

Yeah it's been lackluster, hardly anything new and posing has been sub par

Same but maybe we have ourselves to blame. Pehaps HT would have preferred to have kept some full reveals of certain figures till after SDCC in which case this would have been our first time seeing a number of things. Course thats just speculation. If people refuse to believe HT is influenced by fan input when it comes to making changes to figures why should they be influenced by fans getting impatient and wanting full figure reveals every other week.

I hate to say it but even the Avengers didn't have that 'wow' factor I was expecting them to have after seeing them all (bar Hulk) together.

They should have displayed them in a line IMO and not...the way they did. I think an actual lineup would have been more effective. Having said that I'm almost glad they didn't because I was worried seeing them at the CON would make me want them all again. I deliberately allowed my hype to dissipate.

Agreed about the line up. So these are off your list completely now?

Also without some cool broken city background, figure teams never have that joined look. They just look like a bunch of people standing around together.

As long as I don't watch the film again, yes. I only saw the film once, I have the option of seeing a pirate copy but have refused - not out of some moral highground principle - but simply because if I watch it I'll be back at square one wanting all the figures.

The fact is I can't buy them, so I'd only be torturing myself. I know the film is incredible, I will watch it again at some point but not at this time.

No funds or space for the HT rendition of ASM, so I got this instead

I haven't bought a bobblehead in probably fifteen years, but I genuinely love that forced perspective base.

Kinda of worried about this Spiderman Hot Toy. Hope the fix the body from looking so bloated. Missed out on the R&B Spidey from the first three movies. Don't want to make that same mistake again.

Pretty easy to hide the very same flaws you see in the CC display with a front-on view vanilla pose like the above though.

This is the best photo i've seen this figure in, and it's still miles away from the Raimi figure. Release a DX Red blue Spidey please HT. With actual gloves. You can do it!

Didn't mean to ruffled your feathers,but that's just my opinion,compared to the other figures they have out now,the spiderman in MY OPINION straight sucks...oh and with the uso figure quote..

There's plenty of shame here to spread over both (or unfortunately all three) figures.

At least the Spidey stands a chance of being corrected before release.

Look its a business and they are going to survive by making money. Who cares if they release several variations you DONT have to buy all of them. The thing that pisses me off is when quality suffers or when they rush to make a buck. The Thor and Spiderman look awful in these pictures and there is no excuse for it at $200 a goddamn figure!
