LOL! Good stuff right there. :lol

I find that particularly cynical on the site. There is no direct link to the regular item, so unless you know how to find it, you'd think that this is the only version there is. Even if you put "iron man vii" into the SSC search engine, it defaults to that and that only, it does not even offer you the regular in the 'you might also be interested in theses' boxes on the right.

You don't get a choice, what if you were new to the site or 1/6 collecting?

I sometimes wonder about the actual legality of such things. I mean sure it's there on the site to be ordered, but would a new comer know that, for the only way to find it, they'd need to manipulate the URL information? Besides which SSC has no need to bury this info, these will sell just fine. With the Exclusive and the Regular being the same price...it works in their favour and people seeing this would pick the exclusive anyway, I think.

These are beautiful works of art, and we quibble about likenesses, and minor errors in costume production, and possibly dissolving costumes and arms...

But the truth is, if anyone comes to the house and notices them, they don't see any of that, they just see the fantastic quality of figures.

Must of the time the 1st thing people see is a 1/1 Clyon with his big guns and eye. Had some come in the back door (with out asking) 1/1 T-800 2 Pl guns. Love it.

But this are nice

Thank you, that is exactly my point. I could not have made it better. People see the item as it is, a representation of a movie character.

It's an easy trap to fall into, you collect these things for so long that it is easy to miss all the similarities and dead-on features and focus on the misses. But these are Art.

They want to charge for shipping.

Funny you would say this. I have a rule, that was a major rule till this item. EX ONLY! (if there is one). Only the shipping on this for me is $18 or so (Tax is higher then shipping for me, I live less then two hours away from SSC).

I got thinking what am I going to do with that little IM? Then I thought What am I going to do with that little $18 IM, Then I thought I am going to get points one way or another and cancel the ex. 1st time,

Really what are or what do you do with the little im guy?

I don't think it has anything to do with the free shipping or not. It has more to do with % on there parts. The EX is theirs to sell and make more off of. They bring in HT and sell them to retailers. Those are way cheaper, the ex is only for them to sell. They make more profit.

Erm, not quite...

Regular @ $249.99

Exclusive @ $249.99

They make how much extra from the Exclusive? What it really means is that the regular is seriously over priced.

I know sometimes my post are hard to read. What HT has done is make a box and a extra items(S) to be sold only thought SSC. This gives them more profit as they are not sold outside the retail market place.

Your prices is right. But you will also fine other sites selling the reg for cheaper. You should not see any sites but SSC selling a EX. If they are they paid full price and trying to sell it for extra. Not unheard of.

Other point is SSC items, NOT HT. Does have a number put on them. Take say Bacrac EX 750, Non EX 5,000. Lady Death 750(ex) sold out, non ex not sure did not look but you get the point.

They just make more profit. But in the long or short of it you get sometime you want a little clear IM for the cost of shipping. Or you don't get the little IM and save the cost of the shipping.

Now if someone can tell me what to with him. Well I will give it some though.
