I've decided that I only need one Iron man in my collection. I used to have II III and IV, sold all three and now have VII on preorder. All I want is one red and gold suit.

Yep, I'm more or less the same. One gold and red suit and maybe something different from IM3 (or maybe one-and-the-same if I like the Heartbreaker enough, since I don't have a red/gold IM yet...) and I'll be content. They won't be turning this cat into a completest! Here's one wallet that got away, Hot Toys!!! Hahahhaaha!!!

I am not a completionist. I just get what I like. I have several Hot Toys, but I am not going for all the Iron Man suits. I actually started with Warmachine, when I began the Iron Man line.
I do have the Mark VII on preorder though. This will only be my 2nd Mark suit, besides Mark II.
I of course have the Iron Monger though.. ( A FRICKEN MUST HAVE, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT AN IRON MAN FAN )..which I am though, of course.

Same, again. First Iron Man figure I bought was MILK War Machine (really prefer that colour scheme as it seems more comics-based, to me), followed by Iron Monger. Couldn't agree more about that figure, too. I'm not a huge Iron Man fan, but it's a work of art and a must-have for anyone that loves Marvel and is into 1:6, IMO.

I agree. I had the IV when it first hit, but being that I want a simple setup of the Avengers, I figured the VII would fit just perfect. It doesn't hurt that I really like the design of that suit, either.

my first IM was Mark IV and then Mark VI, had to sell both eventually...a bit regretful now but it's ok since I will be getting Mark VII -- just can't wait for this to be released!

Same here. My MCU collection isn't very focused, I just buy my favorite designs when they're available and I have the money for it. I just hope my choices make sense on the shelf. Right now it's a little weighted toward Iron Man (due to the sheer volume of releases) but that will change a bit when I get Thor and Loki on the shelf.

Yeah unless I'm a die hard Iron Man fan, one is good enough.....when you have too many they all start too look alike. My favorite is still IM1 & 2.
