I must say it has been VERY hard for me to not get every MK armor. So far ive limited myself to MK4,6 and 7. And want 3 2.0. There are a couple of suits in the IM3 trailer Id pick up as MMS but after this im done. Very happy with my MK's,perfect iconic looks between 3, 4 and 6.

With all the MMS Mark Armors released and hopefully more to come with Iron Man 3 movie, I am actually glad we have had so many to choose from. I only have War Machine Milk version, Mark 2 unleashed, and Iron Monger, and Mark VII on preorder.

I have always been of the mindset that more choices are better then fewer...:lecture....lol.

For those that collect all the MK armors, do you guys consider the Mech Test Tony Stark as part of that collection or not?

Not with the IM3 Tony Stark coming out. I would love to get it but I can't see it being worth $400+ its going for when the IM3 version is coming out.

Still, imho, the opening price is too high for IM3 mech test. Not that I worry about it: sold almost all my IM figures, waiting for MK7 and IM3 armors, and even then, I'll choose carefully.

I've owned two of the Mech Tests. It's probably the best HT piece around that time of MMS releases. The RDJ headsculpt is really nice, the boots and forearms are a combination of metal. The wiring is great and detailed. In addition, with the exception of the MK II AU, it's the only HT IM figure that has light boosters on the bottom of the boots.
That's always been one of my big criticisms of the HT Iron Man figs. The boosters on the boots don't light up.

I have a question for anyone of the more seasoned HT buyers. I see that Sideshow collectibles has the est. release date moved to May as everyone stated in earlier posts.
I still see it set for March on BBTS and also on the HT website listed for 1st quarter 2013.

Is there any reason the date is only changed on the Sideshow site? I know they are an official U.S. Distributor, but why hasn't HT site changed the date listed?

They just didn't have someone go in there and change the date.

A bit off subject, but what is the going price U.S. wise that is fair for a MIB Mark 6 sideshow exclusive version with Tony Stark arm?... not the Avengers movie one.

Could have searched the thread about that figure itself. :dunno

It's going for $400 and up on the forums here and a bit more on eBay but on eBay the seller loses a good $100 on all the fees you need to pay.

Agreed. The more the merrier! Although they also seem to clog up other Hot Toys releases imo. Which sucks for other lines but hey what can you do?

Ok so the release date for this is May? I haven't received any E-mail update from SSC about it. I still need a Mark III Gunmetal to complete my Armor set.
