Looking forward to the full reveal on this one. Wonder if it will feature switch-out battle-damaged parts like the IM2 Mark VI?

First Mark VII is likely to be simple. Then HT may DX it because it will be reused for IM3. But certainly like VI, they will milk the VII.

You're probably right. Battle-damaged parts will come with the Avengers Mark VII 2.0, just before the release the IM3 Mark VII.

I've never liked the mix of silver and gold. I hope in IM 3 they lose that. I'm sure this figure will be really nice Im going to pass and keep my IV. Speaking of IM 3, I would love to see a glimpse of Stark working on an Ultimate Suit.

I'm okay with a little silver. I think the silver on the legs of the Mark VII is a little much. But I like the added bulk to the shoulders.

Hope this mark 7 does have the battle damage option just to make up for the accessories

i still can't think of any for mark 7 accessories, a nuke missle would be good but i bet its goin to look silly displaying it with him carrying the missle, the armor pod or whatever it is called is good too but i don't think its necessary,just my opinion

Well I guess this is NOT a DX like I had hoped since no DX logo in the teaser- so much for the armor delivery pod being included....

I don't know how you guys kept up with all Avenger figure's & your still got Hulk to come yet. Just VII for me & still wishing for a MK III.2

What's the expected price on this figure? Between Loki and the upcoming Sideshow Vader, I don't know if I can squeeze this in. High school sucks. Only being able to work full-time for three months is a pain.

I honestly see no reason for this or any Iron Man figure to be a DX. DX=PERS and from the pics I've seen, most don't display theirs with the faceplate up which would defeat the purpose of PERS. The only thing that makes a DX a DX is PERS, fancy box with foam, and possibly a dio but that's not always the case (89 Joker & Batman, or the Cyberdyne T800 for example).

The only one I could possibly see as a DX would be a remake of the MK3 (thats rumored to have another go isnt it?) b/c what else could they do that hasn't been done already

Agree, the only way to get and Iron Man DX would be just Tony, and even then it wouldn't matter, he would come with some sort of glasses covering his eyes.

My only wish for the Mark VII is that we get a smiling head sculpt, Tonys full of himself and would love for him to be on my shelf with an undeserved grin.

I really don't get the point of the DX line. I have said that before as well. The only thing that differentiates DX figures from others is PERS and that's it.

They do, it's a Gold/Red scheme but much more Gold than we've seen before.

It isn't "used". The suit is more Gold with Red accents than the other way around or at least in what we've seen in the promotionals and the Mark VII is already retired. In the set pics released all seven previous marks are in Stark's lab in the armory displays. It looks like he starts out with a Mark VIII but there are multiple parts on his workbench so we might get a Mark IX in that film as well.

He's had three (3) different suits in every Iron Man film so far. Don't see why they'd change that. So we should see Mk VIII, IX and X.

I hope this comes with a Robert Downey Jnr facesculpt at least, even if it's a re-used one. Don't care for the suit pod, i'll look at it a few times but won't display it. Don't want the Nuke either as having it sit at his feet doesn't have the same effect and i want him displayed with the team not on his own with a Nuke. Would love some battle damage panels so my hope is we'll get battle damage panels and a Stark sculpt.
