Yeah great looking Iron Man suit, but the sculpt looks like somebody pretending to be RDJ. I think the main problem is the eyes get that wrong and it messes up everything else. It's funny how Play Imaginative nailed it on their first attempt but Hot Toys have not get there yet.

Wow now that looks more like RDJ, the intense look captures his look of the inside the helmet graphics!

Why would you be a troll?

Honestly, I don't know how trolling is defined here. Sometimes I notice that someone says his thoughts and opinions about a figure/headsculpt even once and in return some people who must love the figure and finds it perfect instantly label him a troll :dunno

Anyway... :)

That's what I thought, too! Even PI's Cheadle sculpt is veeeery impressive. Sure they are kinda rough on the texture, but these are protos anyway, so I'm sure it would be softened some more.

If you judging by jorRenos comments earlier, don't worry. Guys a troll himself.

Oh, no. Not at all. It was my first time to see his comments as I don't frequent the Marvel threads actually, but yeah, it's just that something I noticed in general. "troll" is a term so loosely used here that someone doesn't like your comment, he'd label you a troll :lol

Only a few on evil bay up in the Asian market, but I predict by Monday there will be more in stock auctions :lecture

But Yikes almost $600-700! :slap:slap

As much as I'd like HT to make figures other than Iron Man, its mind boggling how many they are selling. Mark VII exclusive, Mark VII regular and BD Mark VII all sold out and fetching STUPID money on ebay ( and here ).

2 versions and 1 exlcusive of the Mark GONE! And I would bet the number of Mark VII's made was higher than any other Avenger.

I bet they could release a 3rd Mark VII ( Gunmetal, Secret Project, or a McDonalds Mark VII :wave ) and I bet IT would sell out.

Even though I'd love some other characters, at least I'm glad I am an Iron Man fan. :dunno

Iron Man + Avengers = lots of potential customers. It makes sense. Happens to work out well for me since I'd be buying these even if the movies made no money and I didn't like the films themselves simply because I adore the design of all the armors as well as the iterative progression of them.

I'm a big fan of having a sequence of things that are similar but different. It's why things like mini-figs have always appealed to me.

I can't wait for this guy now, finally the Avengers are forming up and waiting for the jolly green giant to make his appearance on a rusty motorcycle :)

You dont need a Mark 7 he says...
You already have a Hot Toys Ironman.
No need to get an Avenger one.
Okay, so what if you sold your Thor and upgraded it to Avenger Thor.
And just because you also bought another captain America...the Avenger version doesnt mean that you have to have an Avenger version of Ironman also.
Remy is a dumb ***!!!

I hope my waitlist converts. :(

Torn about this, absolutely sick of HT Iron Man (not the character), but I have been collecting all the Avengers.. Not sure the Mark VI looks right with the others...hmmm...

Buy the VII. The figure is fantastic and will be very expensive down the road. If not, you may regret it later.

I was in your exact same boat back in March, and I had a titanic struggle inside my head for days. The DVD and the Diecast anouncement gave me the right push. Ultimately, the MK VII won and I PO'ed it.

I hope my waitlist converts. :(

May the Force be with you. Good Luck! (Ok, wrong movie universe again...)

After seeing the Battle Damage on this figure, I am veeery glad I did end up pre-ordering the BD Mark VII.

I will wait to judge the sculpt in person because I know in hand it can look different. Right now I am a little disappointed in it.

Everything else looks GREAT to me and I can't wait for it to arrive. Now the waiting for the 2 week shipping notification from sideshow begins. Just what we need-more waiting! :impatient:

:rotfl

Thanks, got my fingers crossed
Good gosh, this thing is a sexy beast!
