I prefer to complain now when things can be changed, instead of once it's out and nothing can be done. Who knows what the case really is, like if the piece is missing, but I just don't "trust" companies to do things right all the time. Sorry, guess that's crazy. lol.

for once I don't mind the nit picking. I don't know all the details of Iron Man like I do Batman, joker and other characters. And with this being my first and possibly only Iron Man figure until Avengers 2, I'd like it to be as perfect as possible

I want a perfect as possible Iron man too but not because this will be my only one. This will be my 5th Mark (once the I v2.0 arrives) and I reckon it's about time we actually got one that is accurate in every way possible for 1/6th scale.

I wish they would actually give it some metalic gold paint. The dull gold paint just doesnt work.

The quality of the photo "shot" is unfortunate, but there is not really any distortion when you're looking at the length of the grey part in the neck/chest area. Hot Toys have messed up, b/c even if the red armor piece is missing accidentally, it's still not going to go on right b/c it's going to overlap the chest piece when it should be the other way around. Plus the neck is way too long. Take off that rocket pack (which should be removable, if it's not that's a whole other back of worms) and I guarantee you that he has a giraffe neck.

So yeah, it's bad photo of a proto, but you can still tell there are problems that are too obvious to be the result of photo quality. The actual photo quality isn't bad, just the shot taken. It's pretty high res compared to other pics so far (like Hasbro's).

True. In regards to Spidey, that thing has me really wondering what's going on. The neck is horrible, there's that funny line at the top of his head, the neck is too long, the red part of his costume (just above the crotch) isn't suppose to end in a square, and did I mention that neck?

I don't general nitpick a figure to death, but whatever that thing is around his neck, black/dark greyish looks horrible. I hope there is a piece that goes there that just isn't on yet.

Don't see why I was quoted as I didn't nitpick anything.

I said how I welcome the nitpicking of others for this figure as I know nothing about iron man suits I could be nitpicking of these bad pics or when the official pics hit. Don't care, just hope for a good final product either way

artfx statue - under neck version not seen

1:1 bust not visible

The figure on display is missing a panel that clips in below the shoulder pods - my guess is that the metal piece below the neck is spring loaded and will sit down when the panel is fitted. Possibly made like this to allow the removal of the HS and neck a little easier?

The figure on display is missing a panel that clips in below the shoulder pods -

Looks more like the chest panel is slid down -- see how low the arc light is, and how the bottom is below doesn't line up with the gold "ribs".
