Ropen, you mean the regular? That means he is about three weeks out from the US...the dx11 was a whole month diffrence from ex to reg in the us.

Nope, one of the stores I mentioned has it in stock early, I already got shipping confirmation but it's priced at 290 usd, nearly all the toy stores are increasing their prices on this anticipated arrival.

Being nice to customer services around toy stores paid off, the lady sent me an email a month later about my favor I asked:

Hi, we are writing to let you know that MMS 185 Mark VII is available now, as the shipment is confirmed a small quantity should arrive early next week. Though it is shown as pre-order status in the website, but if order is placed before this weekend we would be able to send you one within next week. Please find the following link as reference:

ME

Since it's weekend in HK if you placed your order now, it should pull through, now where was that member who said I had to pay 500+ dollars on a new one? BAM SUCKA!!!! :nana:

Bones is correct. He was stating the North America distributors will be receiving the figure in three weeks. This is a HK seller as you stated.

Nice find though on the Mark VII. Ovepaying $80 is better than overpaying $250. LOL.

For UK collectors, I just read this... Hopefully Modelzone/Amerang will get bailed out.

This would be good news, but still no news on pre-order status.

"ModelZone founder David Mordecai, who is chief executive of Hawkin's Bazaar parent Tobar Group, is reportedly preparing to launch a rescue bid for the chain. He launched the business in 1987 after he bought Brighton-based Model Aerodrome, rebranding it ModelZone as he expanded the chain.
Richard Hawes, joint administrator and partner in Deloitte's restructuring services practice, said: 'ModelZone has historically been profitable, however in recent years the company entered into leases for new stores that proved to be loss making.
'This, coupled with the growth in online competition, has resulted in ModelZone generating losses over the last couple of years, which the board of directors has now concluded is unsustainable and sought the appointment of administrators.'
Its wholesaling business, Amerang, is profitable, but sought the protection of administration following the collapse of its sister company ModelZone, according to Deloitte."

Managed to snag the last preorder at one of the stores here in Australia for 250 USD :) ETA is unknown though :-(

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but why did HT add another pair of arms again? I don't get it, lol

Yeah mentioned the rescue bid yesterday a few pages back. Something should be sorted by the time the next hot toys is due. Either they pull out of this or they don't either way we will know soon.

I saw your post the other day, but didn't realise the rescue bid was from the original founder. Anyone know what the next hot toys release will be for the UK.

I think its Coulson, Wolverine or Snake Eyes.

I really hope they keep the pre-orders intact. I've been looking at websites in stock, but the only ones that have them are the Hong Kong ones and a few in the US.!!

Oh be careful.... Sounds like TA MKVII where I had to buy replacement arm armor for that same reason. :slap
Errm...do you mean the TA MKVI?

Another thing that gets my attention is the fact that there's no way a 1/6 RDJ is inside that armor. This guy is fit. Not skinny, but really trimmed. The movie shows IM being this Thick armored beast that can actually hold a person inside it. Minor grip though, but I think he should've been thicker.
Welcome to HT's notorious proportion inaccuracies. It's a whole new universe that defies the laws of physics and human anatomy.

And fordijuse, I actually flex paid this, and got it before you.
I'm curious to know his take on this.

So it appears Ropen has mentioned the REGULAR will be for sale within the next few days. That means the Mark vii REGULAR edition will be at Sideshows warehouse in 3~4 weeks.

Once it arrives at SS, expect your major e-tailers to recieve them in 2~4 weeks.

Count your Blessings BB! Most of us have only the hope that we will get him one day... :pfft: :) :duff

P.S.: Congrats! :hi5:

You're right. Definitely appreciate getting him. He's actually my first 'classic' red and gold. Probably my only along with BD later.

And thanks! I hope you and everyone else who really want this guy are able to get him. I always hope the real fans and collectors get the figs they want! :hi5:

Just spotted a regular MK VII on ebay, must mean the regs are starting to hit now. I hope mine hits the UK before the end of August but not likely...will be leaving for Spain then and after that back at Uni
